Golden color. Honey, honeysuckle, melon, lemon tart, ripe pineapple on the nose. Lemon chess pie, salinity, touch of minerality with a hint of bitterness on the back palate. Good length and intensity. Medium to full bodied. Honestly a fantastic wine for the price. (40 views)

Nose with earthy, musty, animatic flavour. On palate still fresh, oak, burned flesh. Overall interesting and more complex than you would think given the low price point of 10-15 EUR. (79 views)

Deep ruby colored with some light staining and a high viscosity (14% ABV). The nose has medium intensity aromas of black cherry, dark plums, dried coconut, violets and baking spice. The palate is dry with medium acidity and medium tannins. A medium to full-body ensues with some tartness that hits me right off the bat. The dark fruit I got on the nose are present as is the violets and baking spice, not so much the coconut though. The finish is tart with some charcoal notes along with the cherry and plum notes. It's a bit disjointed for me, the tartness plays agains the ripeness of the fruit. I am pairing this 87 point wine with grilled Tri-tip and Greek potatoes. Drink till 2025.

Decanted for an hour. This was a pleasant surprise! Really nice red cherries, and racey acidity, a boisterous wine that went nicely with grilled sausages. My previous experiences with Pinotage have been underwhelming, but this is really good! (218 views)

Not as heavily leathered as a kononkop (which is the gold standard of south african pinotage as far as im concerned), but still a 4 star effort. (196 views)

Acrid tire rubber (thought it was leather at first, but no) and musty earth on the nose.
Kind of nondescript red fruit on the palate. High acidity somewhat saves it here. Better on the palate than the nose. Still some slight rubber on the finish.
