Bought on a whim from Lukas Liquors. Viognier always interests me, especially from a small micro climate. Color. Golden yellow. But youthful looking. Nose. Honeysuckle, pineapple, sweet orange cake, lime, star anise. Lots going on here. Palate. Rich oak! Decent acidity. Good core of baked apples and spice. A very nice Viognier.
