Tasted by guzmana on 5/4/2018 & rated 92 points: Veryy different expression of Pinot Grigio. Complex with medium to full body 9n the palate. Almond and the feel of honey but without any sweetness. (667 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 12/27/2017 & rated 90 points: Nice citrus notes. A lot of alcohol gives it a medium body feel despite the austerity and dryness. (678 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 7/3/2017 & rated 92 points: I am not sure how to describe this excellent PG but it returns my faith in this fine grape. Complex and
At the same time refreshing. Almost oily on the palate and with complex fruit notes. (827 views)
Tasted by rocknroller on 8/8/2015 & rated 88 points: Annual Wine Group Summer Event - BBQ Brisket at Siggy's (Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Small taste. Hadn't had this in awhile. Showing nicely with some earth, nice minerality, white peach and delicate citrus notes. (2084 views)
Tasted by fm1488 on 4/20/2015 & rated 87 points: Drank as part of a Pinot Gris/Grigio tasting. Hard to compare to the others as this one had significant residual sugar - 24% and the others were all dry.

My wife and I know this wine though and really enjoy it. It is full of Apricot and honeysuckle nose and some Orange on the palate. Drinking really well right now but probably on the outer edge of it's window. I think the acidity will fail shortly and leave it a bit flabby. Enjoy it and drink it now. (1521 views)
Tasted by J ARANTES on 5/12/2014 & rated 85 points: matched very well with gruyere souflé (1843 views)
Tasted by J ARANTES on 10/27/2013 & rated 87 points: A very good wine, character, elegance (2286 views)
Tasted by Champagneinhand on 10/5/2013 & rated 88 points: Nice Alsace PG. The aBV is higher than I usually like, but a beautiful honeyed straw color in the glass, smooth, decent acidity, tart peach flavors with some chalk or limestone mineral and a citrus crispness on a medium, but juicy finish. Not a GC but good qpr. (2662 views)
Tasted by Zoltán Németi on 9/13/2013 & rated 86 points: Honeydew dipped into honey, a touch of petrol. Slightly oily texture, sweetness more obvious with such restrained acidity. Medium-bodied. Good intensity both at the end and in the aftertaste, which is clear signs of quality. Lacks zest but still somehow not flabby. (1897 views)
Tasted by KenPlace on 5/6/2013 & rated 89 points: Good quality Alsatian Pinot Gris (2426 views)
Tasted by chitowncdpguy on 3/27/2013: Chalky rich mouthfeel is really great on this. Ripe fruit on the palate with a bit of a honeyed floral taste that hangs around on the end. Nose is fairly simple. Really good. (1776 views)
Tasted by JoshA on 3/4/2013 & rated 90 points: Luscious peach and apricot coats the mouth in a weighty, almost nectar feel. Not sweet but compares to a fine Sauternes. (1353 views)
Tasted by JenXH on 11/22/2012 & rated 90 points: Enjoyed this lovely with our traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Still holding strong with a 90 rating for me. Rich & creamy, the dinner pairing brought out the sweetness of peaches. Delicious. Will pair next with a spicy meal. (1831 views)
Tasted by bin905 on 11/10/2012 & rated 87 points: Starts slightly sweet, then peach, pear, apricot and orange flavors take over. (1889 views)
Tasted by AllRed on 10/27/2012 & rated 88 points: Yellow color. Notes of stone fruit, straw and wax. The palate features flavors of tropical & stone fruit and spice, with a long finish. Guessed Gewurtz. (1498 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 10/25/2012 & rated 88 points: Light medium yellow color; tart peach nose; lanolin, tart peach palate; medium-plus finish (1015 views)
Tasted by chitowncdpguy on 9/4/2012: The mouthfeel of this is it's most striking feature - almost heavy, unctuous, almost oily in texture. Flavors of ripe pear and honey. Although this is a dry wine, the heavy mouthfeel and ripe pear make one think it's a sweet wine. Medium length finish. Very nice. (1639 views)
Tasted by tjdripper on 9/3/2012 & rated 88 points: Nice new white suggested by our guy at the wine store. Nice pale yellow/gold color. Nose of citrus and apples. Lovely nice flavors of citrus fruits (lime), pineapple, pear, yellow apple, and mineral notes. An earthy bitterness on the back end/finish. Not the greatest QPR, but a great offering that I will buy again. (1258 views)
Tasted by JenXH on 9/2/2012 & rated 90 points: Just the right amount of sweetness & dryness, delicious. Nose of fruit blossoms. Smooth & creamy with flavors of citrus peel & lime with notes of pear & slightly tart peaches, a little apple. Wonderfully balanced. Paired with cheese & crackers after a hot day in the sun. Would like to try again with a nice meal to make sure my 90 rating wasn't from sun stroke. (1175 views)
Tasted by 312 on 8/20/2012 & rated 84 points: Rich yellow color. Flowery nose. Medium body. On the sweeter side of dry. Flavors of peach, apricot. Medium finish. A liked it and thought that it was better than average, K thought that it was average and did not like it. (1331 views)
Tasted by Clsmart on 8/11/2012 & rated 89 points: Tasted at a Curious Grape wine seminar on French wine regions. Spicy peach smell and golden color tell you this will not be a minerally dry Alsatian. Indeed, it's on the sweet side of what the Germans call "halb trocken". Beautiful balance of acid makes this a delight for even the dry wine lover and a fantastic wine for the beginner looking to move beyond the basic sweet wine. Wow pairing with Prince La Fontaine triple cream! Absolutely lovely together. (1291 views)
Tasted by Jason Rzutkiewicz on 6/28/2012 & rated 88 points: Drink Alsace - Wines of Pure Expression (TasteLive.com): (13.5%) 100% Pinot Gris (aka Pinot Grigio) – Great, slightly candied, peach/apricot blossomed nose. This one starts medium to full bodied and luscious on entry with loads of sweet peach and orange peel acidity. Rich with creamy, nectar sweetness throughout before a pleasant, mild acidity emerges and leads to a lingering finish with just a touch of heat and spice. Very well done and a perfect pairing with your next spicy meal…

Tasted by npettit on 6/10/2012 & rated 85 points: The label has a dry -to- sweet scale and I believe this fell in to the dry category. Personally, I felt it was a little sweeter than they claim, and sweeter than the sales guy suggested it was when I bought it. Overall a decent QPR, but I tried to pair it with Sushi and it was not quite dry enough and didn't pair well. (1529 views)
Tasted by midieh on 2/1/2012: Sugar makes the palette round. Medium-dry, a bit too heavy. (424 views)
Tasted by Empirate on 1/12/2012 & rated 88 points: Spicy citrus nose. Medium bodied and balanced. medium finish. Very good. (1910 views)

Pinot Gris

From Pinot Gris Wikipedia entry:
Wines made from the Pinot gris vary greatly and are dependent on the region and wine making style they are from. Alsatian Pinot gris are medium to full bodied wines with a rich, somewhat floral bouquet. They tend to be spicy in comparisons with other Pinot gris. While most Pinot gris are meant to be consumed early, Alsatian Pinot gris can age well. German Pinot gris are more full-bodied with a balance of acidity and slight sweetness. In Oregon the wines are medium bodied with a yellow to copper-pink color and aromas of pear, apple, and/or melon. In California, the Pinot gris are more light bodied with a crisp, refreshing taste with some pepper and arugula notes. The Pinot grigio style of Italy is a light-bodied, often lean wine that is light in color with sometimes spritzy flavors that can be crisp and acidic. Although this wine can be very sweet, it will begin to lose its acidity when it is nearly ripe.

Pinot gris is considered an "early to market wine" that can be bottled and out on the market within 4–12 weeks after fermentation.
