Tasted by Rillekille on 11/13/2021 & rated 90 points: Perfect match with cabbage gratin and deer steak. (437 views)
Tasted by Wulffila on 6/26/2021 & rated 82 points: It’s a drinkable wine…jammy and cocoa powder. But why spend €10-12 on this when you have the chance to buy something decent, avoid! (597 views)
Tasted by AlphaMikeFoxtrot on 4/25/2021 & rated 75 points: An organic/vegan/natty Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is intriguing, I'm just not sure why they had to make an extracted/oaky/California Cab style wine at its base. And OH BOY, this wine is very extracted. (I would guess it's from a very warm part of Abruzzo, near the coast) Jammy dark fruit. Vanilla, chocolate notes as well but more fruit driven than oak driven. (766 views)
Tasted by worldwidewine on 4/21/2021 & rated 93 points: Dark colour..Nose very sweet ,a bunch of black fruits.Velvet mouth finishing sweet.A tasty wine ,joyfull and easy to drink with pasta.
It's a bargain. (590 views)
Tasted by Eddan92 on 1/15/2021 & rated 75 points: Helt ok. Väldigt mycket frukt, bra för den lite mer oerfarna vindrickaren. (476 views)
Tasted by adamanko on 3/22/2020 & rated 84 points: Rather sweet but that could be my prejudice. Coffee. Juicy. Dog's chocolate. Really hard to me for grade. Afraid my prejudice influence me too much. But maybe 84? Easy drinking. (1025 views)

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

From Wikipedia:
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a type of wine grape as well as a type of red wine made from these same grapes in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy. The grape is however recommended for 20 of Italy's 95 provinces. Up to 10% Sangiovese is permitted to be added to the blend. It is typically a fruity, dry wine with soft tannins, and as such is often consumed young. If aged by the winery for more than two years, the wine may be labelled "Riserva."

This wine should not be confused with Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a Tuscan wine made from Sangiovese and other grapes, but not the Montepulciano variety.

The quality of Montepulciano wines produced in Abruzzo (especially in the provinces of Pescara and Chieti) has been constantly improving in the last ten years, making Abruzzi, once a backwater in winemaking, one of the most interesting locales in the Italian scene.

It is blended with the grape Ciliegolo to make the wine Torgiano. It is also used as the primary grape in Rosso Conero DOCG and is a major part of the Rosso Piceno DOC blend.

Over the past few years the Montepulciano variety has been successfully introduced into Australia.
