Melon and citrus nose and palate. Did not pair well with raw oysters. It had just been shipped to me when I drank it. Maybe needs more time to recover from shipping and to age a bit in the bottle. Initially a hint of bitter almonds and glue (which faded fast - this was the best part of the wine, sadly it faded away). Slightly oily (still on the nose), citrus zest with citrus oil, unidentified tropical fruit. Somewhat herby, quite long and slightly hot finish. A buttery hint. To me, this could use more acidity and minerality. The more I had of this wine the more I came to the conclusion that this is quite flabby, boring and bland. Disappointed.
