Tasted by Bjweiss on 1/21/2024 & rated 91 points: The grower champagne stole the show (as I expected). A clear sense of place is showing here, and Meunier is the star giving off both fruit and spice in spades. There’s some lovely autolytic notes of sweet pastry here showing what the most lees aging can give among the three bottles. Not the last statement in complexity, by any stretch, but a wonderfully balanced, high quality expression of Meunier. The group universally loved this wine, and I did too. 91pts. (745 views)

Tasted by Benoit Hardy on 11/2/2023 & rated 91 points: White fruits with tension, saline finish... Very good! (759 views)
Tasted by chicsucre on 9/21/2023: Pretty amazing overall, another example of great Meunier, on the brighter side

Cannot fully see color (restaurant light) but believe it’s light gold with touch of bronze
On the nose, yellow and white nectarine and plum, honey
Palate matches the nose, plus a saline finish
Rich, fresh, round, good acidity
Light chalky, some linen texture

Production:11 423 bouteites
Base: Vendanges 2019
Mise en cave. JUN 2020
Dégorgement: FEV 2022
Sucres résiduels: 6gr - cool that they disclose residue sugar

Non wine friend described this as “sweet” so believe the fruitiness stood out lol (759 views)
Tasted by Benoit Hardy on 8/26/2023 & rated 90 points: Base 2019. Dsg 11/2022. Pure Meunier.

There is clearly more depth than the Terriscope, especially on the nose with white fruits. Mouth with a nice tension, it's sweet and fruity at the same time. Sweet finish with a nice salty length. It is a synthesis, accessible and racy at the same time. (804 views)
Tasted by 5laton on 6/28/2023: 2017/2018 vintage disgorged August 2021, zero dosage.
Killer herbal, heirloom apple meunier nose. Lovely developed palate with some apple pie fruit and soft cinnamon spice but also a sense of development. This is crazy easy/drinkable for zero dosage. For my taste this is about as good as Egly Vignes de Vrigny, at the price that wine sold for 10 years ago. It's dangerously drinkable.
Leftovers hold up alirght on day 2, but by day 3 it's just soft applesauce. (624 views)
Tasted by aagrawal on 4/18/2023 & rated 90 points: Dinner with the wine group (La Bohème, Palo Alto): 100% Pinot Meunier. Aromatic, some red fruits, peaches and cream, slightly nutty; medium bodied, light mousse, lemon-lime, a bit tart; lacking a bit of length on the finish. Nice for the price point but not amazing. 90 (1030 views)
Tasted by Richard P Howden on 4/18/2023 & rated 91 points: Dinner at La Boheme with the Crew (Palo Alto): A real charmer and great value. Crisp lemony white fruit nose and good tart mouth filling. Dry but not sharp for zero dosage. Medium plus length finish. A rebuy for sure. Vendange 2017/2018, bottled 2019, disgorged 8/2021. (879 views)
Tasted by forceberry on 2/25/2023 & rated 91 points: 100% Pinot Meunier sourced from two parcels: the south-facing Le Patis de Cerseuil and the north-facing Le Vignes Dans le Bois, located in the Marne valley. This wine is based on the 2014 vintage, blended with a small addition of the 2013 vintage that was aged for a year in oak barrels. Full MLF. Bottled in June 2015 without fining and filtration, disgorged in February 2017, after 20 months in aging sur lattes. 12% alcohol, dosage 2 g/l.

Quite deep golden yellow color. The nose feels dark-toned and pretty toasty with aromas of bruised apple, some meaty notes of prosciutto, a little bit of ripe yellow fruits, light red-toned cherry nuances, a hint of honey-and-oats and a touch of bready autolysis. The wine feels ripe, somewhat evolved and moderately toasty on the palate with flavors of bruised apple, some red-toned nuances of cherries or raspberries, a little bit of honey-and-oats, light saline mineral nuances, a leesy hint of autolysis and a sweeter touch of ripe white peach. The wine is medium-to-moderately high in acidity with a crisp yet gentle, medium-long mousse. The finish is juicy, clean and quite gentle with a moderately long aftertaste of ripe citrus fruits, some bruised apple tones, a little bit of saline minerality, light toasty nuances of nuttiness and bready autolysis, a hint of honey-and-oats and a touch of sweet red-toned fruit.

A juicy, balanced and moderately evolved Meunier Champagne that has developed some lovely tertiary characteristics, yet retaining quite a bit of youthful fruit as well. I guess a bit more acidity couldn't have hurt, but fortunately the wine shows good sense of balance and structure as it is. It is drinking really well now, being smack in the middle of its drinking window, but I guess there's a bit of room for additional complexity for those patient people who prefer their Champagnes developed, rich and toasty. A terrific purchase at 33,50€. (1093 views)

Tasted by Benoit Hardy on 10/22/2022 & rated 90 points: Dsg 08/2021

Nose on brioche and grilled almonds. Vivid bubbles.

Mouth on apple and lemon, quite lively but well coated in a very light dosage. Fresh and balanced, it is less austere than the last Dehours buses. Final on the biscuit with a slightly short length.

A good and pleasant champagne (877 views)
Tasted by oxidatif on 7/30/2022: Nose is white flowers and green apple. Creamy body. Off dry finish, is this a Brut? Nope, extra brut 5g dosage. Feels way sweeter. (780 views)
Tasted by Will Devize on 7/17/2022 & rated 90 points: Toasty with plenty of mineral depth and lovely pure lines. Dry, rich, refined with a gorgeous mousse- fine and persistent. Just a twang of the natural on the finish. (736 views)

Tasted by PSPatrick on 11/6/2020 & rated 88 points: The love for Champagne, hosted by Kölner Weinkeller (Zoom tasting): Wine 2: 2016/2017 base vintages, mise en cave in June 2018, disgorged October 2019, 100% Pinot Meunier, zero dosage (0 g/l).

Very similar to Paul852’s description: Beautiful medium golden colour. The reserved nose only opened up slowly. Green apple, citrus, some biscuit, some brioche, roasted almond and a hint of smoke, with fine, creamy mousse, lively acidity and good length of the slightly bitter finish. Good body and richness. Maybe a little austere, as Paul already noted. (1153 views)
Tasted by Paul852 on 9/3/2020 & rated 89 points: 100% pinot meunier. Based on the 2016 and 2015 harvests. Disgorged 9/2019. Zero dosage.

The mousse is very very fine. The nose is muted until it warms a little and then is very mineral. The initial hit on the palate is very sharp, followed quickly by green apple, maybe a touch of pear, fading to more of that minerality. The finish is very crisp and quite long.

Overall I find this just a bit too austere for my taste. I feel a couple of grams of dosage (as apparantly this wine has in some batches) might have rounded it out a bit. But if very austere is your thing then this is a good expression of the meunier.

OK QPR at ~US$34. (954 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 9/30/2019 & rated 88 points: 2019 MW Champagne Tasting, nose of barnyard, yeast, and touch of sweet fruit, same on the palate, medium body, tasty but simple, 100% Pinot Meunier. (1247 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 9/2/2019 & rated 91 points: Le Tour de Champagne Tasting (Hotel Intercontinental Amstel, Amsterdam, NL): A young wine, 20 months sur lattes, 100% Pinot Meunier, assemblage of two vintages, Spicy fruit, lively acidity, youthful vibrancy, very minerally, has drive and length. France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
