Tasted by Lyubomir Lefterov on 7/27/2019 & rated 92 points: With almost 20y of age, this is a showing great. With no special designation and/or a vineyard , just Appellation Alsace, I was a bit worried if this would be drinkable at all. But I was proved wrong and a delightful and elegant GW showed up, slightly off dry just to much the richness on the nose and with the grace of the long bottle maturation, it was splendid.  Tasted by Wineteacher on 1/26/2017 & rated 92 points: The wine showed a nice straw color. At age 18, it showed no brown or gold in the color. The nose was tropical fruit and lychee. On the palate the wine was just a beauty. Exotic fruit, lychee and a hint of bitterness that is often the case with a dry Gewurztraminer. It is fresh, minerally and in perfect balanced. It was not particularly high in acidity but enough for bringing freshness in the context of this rich wine. It was in perfect condition. The wine was actually dry but the fruit and richness made it seem a bit sweet. We had it with three curries and it was perfect. This is one of the best Gewurztraminer of my drinking experience.  Tasted by Ardross on 2/21/2007 & rated 86 points: Quite restrained Gewurz nose much more spice than rosepetal. Honeyed, though dry and warm pear notes. Good (3825 views)
Tasted by Siggy on 2/12/2005 & rated 88 points: Dinner of homemade Alsatian three-cheese fondue. Deep honey/gold color. Pleasant and fruity, showing some interesting pear, diesel, and honey notes. Good acid balance; classic full-bodied Gewurz oily mouthfeel. Not all that complex, but a good quaffer and excellent value. (4429 views)
Tasted by peternelson on 6/14/2003 & rated 87 points: My House: Very nice guava/mango, trop fruit smells w/ rose petals; nice med. body, good acid at end; great tasting & good price! (2855 views)
Tasted by OneLastSyrah on 5/3/2003: ($14) Quintessential Gewurztraminer character. Tending toward full bodied with a bit of sweetness on the palate, though I suspect this is technically dry. Good with our appetizers - warm bacon spinach salad, poblano corn soup, etc. (2567 views)
Tasted by peternelson on 7/26/2002 & rated 85 points: The Chronicle: Fruit, flower smells, sweetish & sourish spice, zingy; very light, pleasant body, fruit taste; a little acid in mouth, not much; tiny bit of sharpness near end. (1514 views)
