Tasted by Scott4227 on 3/30/2024 & rated 93 points: Deep dark purple to the edge, nose of casis, plums, leather, tobacco, black pepper. Medium weight, dark plums, sour dark berry fruits, menthol, peppery, bay leaf, nice Medium acid, good balanced wine, structured but not obtrusive tannins. Nice wine. Developing some further bay leaf, cigar and leather notes on the finish. Will be interesting in 5 years as tertiary flavours continue to develop. Not sure I'd give it the full 15 years the label prescribes. (337 views)
Tasted by OzDude on 1/1/2024 & rated 91 points: this is a great vic shiraz. Spicy, cherries, floral as well. Great nose, great finish. A lot of life left in this one - but this was my last one... (579 views)
Tasted by capnfutsal on 11/18/2023 & rated 90 points: Consistent. Good representation of shiraz and excellent QPR. (603 views)

Tasted by goldgarf on 4/26/2022 & rated 85 points: Decent shiraz wine, but nothing stood out. A bit jammy. (619 views)
Tasted by Rkgreen5 on 12/19/2021 & rated 94 points: Excellent. Had it with roasted beef tenderloin and was an outstanding pairing. (2433 views)

Tasted by Julie Lampe on 8/29/2021: Deep purple in color. Thick slow legs.

Aromas of dark berries, black cherries, spice, leather, anisette, tarragon, dusty

Blackberries, black cherry, leather, black pepper, tarragon, hint of cocoa powder,

Medium to high acidity, firm tannins provide structure, but overall a very balanced wine with a full, velvety mouthfeel and lingering flavors.

A lovely and bold Shiraz with a complex nose. Absolutely delicious and I will have to seek it out again. I am so glad this particular bottle made it. It came in a 6 bottle mixed 1/2 case selected by the vendor. Shipped to me in August in Central FL and the first 3 bottles I opened were spoiled. This was a delightful surprise!

Many Australian Shirazes under my belt. This was the first from Grampians. Very nice AUS Shiraz, but this is one of my favorite grapes. (2472 views)
Tasted by jordanj on 4/2/2021 & rated 92 points: Huge lastbottle win. This is going to be exceptional in about 10 years but still very accessible today. Well made. Purple! Young! Still a vibrant huge nose of fruit, herbs, earth. Class wrestling with youth. Well made! Enjoyable today but will only mellow and open up! (3006 views)
Tasted by Wine Lover 1964 on 3/28/2021 & rated 90 points: Bought 6 bottles from last bottle as mid-week drinker but was so impressed decided to lay 3 down for the future. Day 1 had excellent balance between light tannins, acidity and french oak. Not typical Aussie fruit bomb as others have said. Day 2 from decanter still solid. I think I prefer this solo or with light food so as not to overpower the wine. Try next ones 2023-25 when in prime window....? (1656 views)
Tasted by mreinitz on 11/16/2020 & rated 90 points: I enjoyed this! An under-control Shiraz with nice ripe blackberry and blueberry flavors. Not at all jammy and surprisingly low alcohol for a Shiraz. A very pleasant midweek quaffer. (1888 views)
