Tasted by spidermark on 4/13/2024 & rated 91 points: This was a very good wine, and the fruit has held up well. Osborne crafts an intriguing style of Grenache. Quite unlike most of what you will find out there. Good balance, nice texture, pretty fruit and a delightful finish. (37 views)
Tasted by Jon Mills on 11/7/2021 & rated 92 points: Last bottle of a favourite cuvée from A Tribute To Grace. (240 views)
Tasted by Drizzt321 on 5/28/2021: This wine still has a lot of life left in it, years left I'd say. Full bodied delicious fruit, hints of some leather or meat on the back end, very delicious. Wish I had purchased more bottles, just one left is too few. (327 views)
Tasted by yatchisin on 2/14/2018 & rated 91 points: Angela Osborne's grenache never fails to enchant. This lovely wine, from a cool site for the variety, still packs plenty of bright fruit and entrancing spice. (2465 views)
Tasted by AllRed on 12/20/2016 & rated 91 points: Popped and pured. Aromas of red berry fruit, currants, white pepper and spices. Full-bodied. Very tasty- loads of bright red fruit with underlying spice qualities. Finishes with good length. (1571 views)

A Tribute to Grace Wine Company

Producer website

Angela Osborne was born in New Zealand and moved to California in 2006 to begin making Grenache. Named in part after her Grandmother Grace, A Tribute To Grace began with it's first vintage in 2007 from her signature Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard Grenache.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
