Tasted by Redhawk-Jayhawk on 11/7/2011 & rated 89 points: Very big fruit - beery, cherry. Easy drinking. Another steal from this vineyard. (2216 views)
Tasted by garyr on 12/27/2010: stinko not worth $3 bucks (2500 views)
Tasted by Jr11454 on 11/7/2010 & rated 86 points: Great weekday wine. Not much nose but well structured with med finish. Would not call it fruit forward but still good. Would buy again (2561 views)
Tasted by Grenik on 8/29/2009 & rated 88 points: Good fruit with enough layers of flavor to make it interesting. While it will never be a "classic", it would be nice if all $10 wines were this good! (2990 views)
Tasted by seravina on 8/27/2009 & rated 72 points: Thin, watery, a "Heinz 57" amalgam of berry flavors lurking beneath an overwhelming astringency. Didn't improve with time and got dumped down the drain. (3608 views)
Tasted by Steve Jones on 1/25/2009 & rated 87 points: Nice flavors, structured. Almost like a reserva chianti. Nice flavors, lingering finish. Earthy, spicy, full mouth feel. (1767 views)
Tasted by joshwoodward on 4/17/2008 & rated 89 points: Big. Tannic. Black cherry and light leather. Balanced. Medium body, juicy, medium acid. Great QPR (1713 views)
Tasted by Reyman on 1/1/2008 & rated 85 points: Dark color and blackberry on the palate. Pronounced tannins, but I don't see this devoping much. Good value for $9, but nothing to x write home about. (2147 views)
Tasted by shawnwelch on 12/2/2007 & rated 91 points: Served this at a dinner party and everyone loved it. my wife gave it 4 stars out of 5. People wrote down the info so the could get a few bottles. Terrific value! (2353 views)
Tasted by hutch on 10/4/2007 & rated 85 points: Lots of fruit, a little spice at the end, fairly light tannins. No, its not a great wine, but very drinkable, at a great price. It would work well as a BBQ wine. When I give it 85 points, that's a good thing. (2421 views)
Tasted by Chris K. on 10/3/2007 & rated 84 points: Sampled in tasting room. Rustic nose, front mouth tannins, back mouth fruit: white grape / pear. Screwtop wine. 40% Zinfandel, 40% Sangiovese, 20% Petit Sirah; 14.8% ABV. (2416 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
