| Tasted by Hotelsnobs on 11/6/2015 & rated 89 points: Pale straw to rich yellow. Aromas of mackintosh apple and stone fruit and hints of oxidation. On the palatte: mid to high viscosity, acids low when cold, but still evident after warming. Sweet notes of pear, and pineapple and noticeable, if subtle oxidation which lends richness to the finish. Minerality still accessible at cooler temperatures but not pronounced. Decadent and equal to rich foods (paired gorgeously with duck pâté as well as fresh heirloom tomatoes and nicely with braised chicken, and mushrooms sautéed in butter). Lacking the acid to go with fruit like raspberries. Stunningly capable of aging gracefully into something not unlike Rieslings of the Mosel or a simple white burgundy. (1364 views) |

| Tasted by t4drman on 8/2/2010 & rated 90 points: A harmonious white delight that went so well with grilled chicken. It displayed the apple nuances mentioned in previous reviews while containing a surprising roundness and depth that I didn't expect from this wine. A real treat and one that is highly recommended.
