Tasted by LightDancer on 7/13/2020: Still good. Not surprisingly it has lost some of earlier zing and the floral components have retreated. No sign of deterioration. A nice bottle on a hot summer evening. (422 views)
Tasted by hpluseleven on 8/8/2014 & rated 89 points: Very summery (1640 views)
Tasted by giniajim on 1/6/2013 & rated 82 points: Nice citrus notes. No apparent frontal bouquet, some blowback, pleasant tingle. Pale gold, some legs. Not bad for an evening sipping. (2583 views)
Tasted by kenito799 on 11/15/2012 & rated 83 points: Decent and drinkable, NZSB tangy gooseberry style. (2507 views)
Tasted by andrew.schoen on 10/4/2012 & rated 86 points: Straw with pale rim. Lush gooseberry, grass, and grapefruit on the nose. Palate was crisp, with citrus, gooseberry, and some herbaceous overtones. Medium to light finish. (3106 views)
Tasted by Drdaker on 6/7/2012 & rated 90 points: Grassy blanc. Light and crisp. Good warm weather wine with lighter meals and on its own. Buy again. (3330 views)
Tasted by Quattro on 5/28/2012 & rated 86 points: Decent everyday white table wine. (1998 views)
Tasted by RevSteve on 5/10/2012 & rated 87 points: Light grassy but good body. Paired well with Caesar Salad. Nice warm weather wine. (1605 views)
Tasted by wineslide on 11/19/2011 & rated 89 points: This is a safe New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc pick for those who light the grassy, fruity NZ SBs. Light grassy and passion fruit aromas with just a hint of cat piss (which is a good thing). Some grapefruit comes in at the end, but only small amounts. Crisp and clean. Great with light fish of any kind. (1837 views)
Tasted by Mike Kopanski on 10/24/2011 & rated 87 points: This has always been a safe pick. They have presented us with a consistent style we can count on vintage to vintage. To a certain extent, this is a value wine that limits some of those overpowering grassy herbaceous flavors and aromas, in a style that is really compatible with my palate. There is a decent amount of that typical New Zealand style grassiness, but is in complete harmony with the amount of fruit, weight, and mouth feel of this wine. The acid is almost perfect, it is refreshing without being dry. There is citrus and passion fruit on the palate, and finish. Slides down easy with minimal off flavors. (1760 views)
