(1707 views) | | Tasted by ChasDSM on 7/17/2010 & rated 74 points: Pale yellow gold. Nose: Musty; too much oak - like a bad attempt at Cal. Chard. Palate: simple. Not as overly oaky as the nose suggests, but still too much for me. Taste is just a bit "off", almost like it's cooked. Perhaps this would have been better a year or two ago (2642 views) | | Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 6/3/2010: A little bit old at these point, even though its 2007. Tasting just a bit tired. (2752 views) | | Tasted by matthewjhale on 3/23/2010 & rated 78 points: I couldn't really get into this wine. The nose is decent with some tropical candy, green apple, butter, lemon and a little minerality. Some of the fruit comes through on the palate. What I really don't like is the mouthfeel. It's quite oily with very little acidity. I can't see this wine pairing well with food. I think almost anything you could eat would overpower it. I think the drink dates are about right; If you have this wine drink it now. (2896 views) | | Tasted by ethralls on 1/26/2010 & rated 87 points: Light golden color with pears and honey on the nose. Very bright. Taste of green apples, lemon, citrus and medium/high level of acid. Finish is moderate. (3038 views) | | Tasted by joshwoodward on 8/28/2009 & rated 83 points: Steely leesy lemon nose. Odd on palate. Tart citrus balanced with a subtle creaminess. Slight bitterness. Interesting, but I wouldn't buy this even at $9. (1766 views) |
