Picked up a bottle at grocery outlet for $3.99. Went back and bought a case!!!
This is what I would expect from a decent $12-14$ bottle. Not what I'd pull out for a nice dinner but nice enough to keep guests away from my good stuff!!! Before that, I was getting a distinctive leathery spice taste that was not that great and it cast a shadow over everything else. After that, I got a dark berry on the nose, with dark berries and tobacco on the palette. And, a long finish with spice, tobacco and leather. Hard to rate this one! (2123 views) |
