Lovely, complex nose of dark fruit, palate in harmony, and a pretty good finish. Sure, there are plenty of better wines but you won't find many this good at anything like this price. The lack of heavy filtration really lends some great texture. The wine is drinking really well right now. Dry, medium acidity, medium+ body and alcohol and medium velvety tannins that travel right across the mid palate. The fruit is dark and brooding with notes of blueberry compote, blackberry and black cherry. (3130 views) |
