Tasted by Richnstacy on 9/16/2018 & rated 85 points: disappointing. perhaps I'm not a shiraz fan, but this one did not age gracefully. harsh, with no fruit left. (1605 views)
Tasted by rossso on 5/27/2018 & rated 90 points: This has come together beautifully. For a wine tha cost under US$15, it has it all. Lovely, complex nose of dark fruit, palate in harmony, and a pretty good finish. Sure, there are plenty of better wines but you won't find many this good at anything like this price. Only one bottle left and I'm tempted to give it a couple more years. (1931 views)
Tasted by DB Lawton on 10/28/2016 & rated 91 points: i love it when a wine comes together. Big nose with some vanilla and cocoa. Tons of fruit still hanging around, like Grandma baked a cobbler. Drink up if you have more of this laying about. (2495 views)
Tasted by The Kokopelli on 8/8/2015 & rated 92 points: A deep inky purple. A rich nose of kirsch, tomato leaf, and mint. Really huge in the mouth, but soft and with some real elegance. Lots of fruit, but also has other subtle tastes of herbs and mocha woven in. There's oak, but fully integrated and provides the necessary backbone. Wish I had more than I do. (3003 views)
Tasted by bordeaux4wino on 8/4/2015 & rated 90 points: The wine is unmistakably Aussie, with its big fruit profile and jammy nature, but it is also more driven by its structure and chewy mouth feel. The lack of heavy filtration really lends some great texture. The wine is drinking really well right now. Dry, medium acidity, medium+ body and alcohol and medium velvety tannins that travel right across the mid palate. The fruit is dark and brooding with notes of blueberry compote, blackberry and black cherry. (3130 views)
Tasted by mnrunner on 1/10/2015 & rated 90 points: Delightful nose , taste, and length (2272 views)
Tasted by sjhoffman on 8/26/2013 & rated 87 points: Very smooth and well integrated. More fruity and less spice than typcial Shiraz.Very easy drinking but did not have a lasting finish with a kick. (3505 views)
Tasted by Wine4Life on 4/16/2013 & rated 90 points: Deep purple, earth and spice nose, raspberry and cherry taste, nice balance and medium finish. Drinking very well today. (3067 views)
Tasted by fishinmusician on 4/15/2013 & rated 86 points: Black cherry, nice example of a big fruit forward Aussie Shiraz (2574 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 1/14/2013 & rated 89 points: Very dark ruby color; tart currant, bell pepper nose; tart currant, bell pepper palate; medium-plus finish (831 views)
Tasted by Corgoson on 9/21/2012 & rated 80 points: nose: dark cab sauv like, plum, dark fruits. High alcohol content, black cherry, tobacco leaf, and red gummy bear. Taste: Nice cola, mocha taste. Some plum and blueberry. Medium body wine, with mellow tannine. Oaky and spike of alcohol. Cherry and cherry candy drop. Lacks a second half of the wine. Disappointing end game. Lacks depth. (3160 views)
Tasted by CDANY on 9/18/2012 & rated 93 points: Plums. Black cherry. Well balanced. Enjoyed this wine immensely. Had it with stuffed peppers but would have been perfect with medium rare beef or lamb. (2874 views)
Tasted by ecola on 7/21/2012 & rated 84 points: Big dark fruit with a bit too much oak. Drinkable, but a little over the top. (1707 views)
Tasted by ecola on 6/5/2012 & rated 87 points: Dark fruit and oak. The oak blows off after a bit but still has a presence. Average, but decent. No secondary flavors, just dark berries. Would make a good late night wine. (1632 views)
