Toasted nose with hints of thyme and vanilla, somewhat reminding of Semillon rather than Chardonnay. Thick taste, medium bodied but round with a big flavour and just a little bit of bitterness on the finish. Complex and long finish, with some overpowering oak hopefully to be swallowed by age. Drunk at La Mescita in Naples with Francesco and Salvatore and paired with an unforgettable Zuppa di pesce (2745 views) | | | Tasted by Papies on 9/15/2010 & rated 83 points: Dark lemon colour.
