Tasted by MSheridan on 7/28/2012 & rated 88 points: Nice development especially losing the residual sweetness Experuenced in earlier life However, I do miss the pungency that MSB is so renowned for Some prefer it in this more refined appearance but personally I'd like more fireworks Still very good though (2397 views)
Tasted by danp on 7/12/2012 & rated 86 points: Grassy nose with a little pineapple which follows through to the palate with lychee and a good dose of mineral. Medium length. A little sweetness on the finish. Not a fan of SB but quite liked this one. (2867 views)

Tasted by moods on 12/28/2011 & rated 86 points: Grassy, wet grass in fact. Becoming vegetal. Shed load of acidity. Lip smackingly sweet on the finish. Interesting and a little different from characteristic NZ Sauv. (2798 views)
Tasted by StewartWent on 12/24/2011 & rated 85 points: Pretty much bang on for the middle of the road Marlborough style and accordingly hard to get excited about. Thick, ripe, some acid, truckloads of cut grass, but gets a bit hard going for mine. (1935 views)
Tasted by MSheridan on 11/15/2011 & rated 86 points: plenty of typical NZ gooseberry bbut a touch of sweetness and lacking in minerality not up to the standard of 07, 08, 09 best served at cellar temp (1520 views)

| Tasted by moods on 6/27/2011 & rated 88 points: Very aromatic, plenty of grapefruit, gooseberry and a distinctive grassiness too. Very lively attack on the front palate, zippy, fresh. Good depth of flavour through the mid palate, has finesse and finishes fairly long. One of the better made, less syrupy, NZ Sauvignon's widely available on the UK market; worth the £10. | Tasted by kuumies on 6/15/2011 & rated 88 points: Grassy, tangy nose. Medium bodied with good acidity, a little bit sour in the finish. High alcohol is noticeable, taking away from the freshness. Still, a solid example of Marlborough SB, and one that I find to be good eventhough I don't really love the style. Was definitely at its best paired with heavier salads. (2018 views) |
Tasted by domi on 3/10/2011 & rated 91 points: Tasted twice with food. A very aromatic SV. Fresh aromatic smell, and the taste follows it up nicely. A very intense fruity (almost tropical) taste. Quite dry. Suits my taste, but maybe not for everyone. Great with salmon pasta. Great with goat cheese. (2114 views)
Tasted by fanglangzhe on 2/3/2011 & rated 87 points: Classic SB aromas of grass, gooseberry, citrus. Citrus and liquid rocks on the palate, good acidity and quite dry without being austere. (1884 views)
