Tasted by Steve&Carolyn on 2/19/2021 & rated 87 points: Fragrance of bananas, violets, raspberries, and a touch of vanilla. Tastes of raspberries, cherries, and an herbaceous edge. Dark purple, medium finish, quite tasty. (532 views)
Tasted by Oenecnist on 9/29/2018: Bought 6b for 12/b from Last Bottle three years ago; this is the first bottle of the batch. No decant. Rich, dark color; modest Rhone nose, subdued body with good mouthfeel. Decided to save half and try again later; that became 48 hours. More fragrant, peppery with red fruits; bigger body with some barnyard and mature red fruit; good finish. More regional character after some micro-ox, delicious. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable+ when considering quality, age, and price--and the extra time after initial opening. (863 views)
Tasted by ibenpaz@gmail.com on 2/5/2018 & rated 90 points: It is amazing what two years more in a bottle does to a wine. I have to agree with the previous reviews. It had a metallic and chemical taste. Now all that is gone. I decanted for an hour has the perfect acidity and plenty of tannins. No alcohol in the bouquet. Plenty of cherries and curry. It is ready to drink. Probably will be ok for another year. (1026 views)
Tasted by ROrmand on 6/2/2016 & rated 77 points: Funk in the beginning, odd spice-like flavors at the end, and not much in between. Expect much better from Blicker Pierce Wagner. (2244 views)
Tasted by CDing21 on 5/22/2016 & rated 84 points: Have to agree with the previous reviews; had a mineral taste to it. It's almost intolerable. (2262 views)
Tasted by ross_brittany on 4/5/2016 & rated 84 points: Deep flavor with mineral finish the first night. Sour cherry second night. (2044 views)
Tasted by kietkopelli on 3/10/2016 & rated 85 points: Just horrible of a wine. Lots petro and other chemicals on the nose. In the mouth it's dry with spicies up front followed by hot alcohol and a chemically finish. (1785 views)
Tasted by Walkersj on 1/5/2016 & rated 90 points: Last Bottle.com $12.00 very solid indeed, especially with food. Will buy again. (1716 views)
