Tasted by Nissel56 on 10/10/2023 & rated 87 points: På plats (131 views)
Tasted by Glenn Gilbert on 12/31/2022 & rated 90 points: My second tasting of this NV French sparkling wine for CellarTracker -- the first was 11/22/2010; resounding pop of the cork; nice mellow flavor, ripe red delicious apples, well-balanced components; pair with cheeses, nuts; I see no reason to change my original 2010 rating of 90 (383 views)
Tasted by buymoreredsdrinkmorewhites on 5/28/2022: Pale yellow with a pink hue in the glass. Good bubbles with notes of lemon, lime and a touch of mineral and subdued red fruits. Though it was a touch sweet at first but seemed to even out in the end. Cousin Pudge really enjoyed this Crémant. (741 views)
Tasted by mkparker on 9/4/2021: na (942 views)
Tasted by TJ4 on 12/24/2019 & rated 90 points: A gift For Jeff and Gina Fine (1490 views)
Tasted by iByron on 3/23/2019 & rated 89 points: Bright rose gold with moderately quickly dissipating mousse and fine bubbles (meaning it’s properly chilled ). Royal Anne cherries on the nose, confirmed on the medium full palate with toasted brioche. Bright, mouthwatering acidity reigns in the mouth, and the finish is long and bready. A Burgundian blanc de noirs that I’d put up against similar Champagnes any day, but without the Champagne price. Equally at home in a celebratory toast or accompanying an oceanic meal. I’m enjoying with grilled salmon. What will *you* choose? (2024 views)
Tasted by rialla977 on 5/1/2017 & rated 87 points: I like this bubbly but this particular bottle was not as good as others I have had. This has been my "go to" bubbly for medium drinking... a friend's birthday where more than one bottle is required, a toast for a neighbor's successes, etc. It has a slightly pink or rose tone to the color, a clean dry taste and finish, and enough acidity to stand up to food. I think it is good with everything from seafood to pizza... but I admit to loving bubbly with food - not just as a celebration drink. (2520 views)
Tasted by Alpton on 7/31/2013 & rated 88 points: Aromas of lemon, cherry, green plum and minerals. Silky with a bright acidity and tingly finish (4930 views)
Tasted by wirelesswine on 3/8/2013 & rated 88 points: Rich color with a blend of stone fruit and light red berries. (4927 views)
Tasted by strawbo on 1/17/2013 & rated 84 points: Aroma/taste components: Peach, a little melon, butter. Rounded nose, more edgy/mineral style on the palate. If I were to score them separately I would score the nose at 88 and the taste at around 82... (4629 views)
Tasted by joesi16 on 12/31/2012 & rated 86 points: a bit flat but still a good value (4353 views)
Tasted by bajayngo on 11/28/2012 & rated 88 points: Lovely wine for Turkey day. Nice nose of yeast, elder berries, bread and effervescent bubbles. Great pair with turkey! (3695 views)
Tasted by spmulligan on 4/15/2012 & rated 86 points: crips with lemon peel and hints of huffle puff (1966 views)
Tasted by Petarrr on 1/7/2012 & rated 88 points: Light onion peel color with small, refined bubbles gives way to a delicate berry nose. On the pallet, berries and citrus. A great value sparkling. (1953 views)
Tasted by YellowDogWineBar on 10/22/2011 & rated 89 points: Cappuccino aroma. Delicate notes of pear and creme from the cappuccino on the palate. Lively acidity and a rather long finish with flavors reminiscent of graham crackers. Very well balanced. Lovely sparkling and great value alternative to champagne. (1732 views)
Tasted by linuhage on 2/16/2011 & rated 78 points: D: Bokna äpplen. Lite myskig. Ej behaglig.

Tasted by Glenn Gilbert on 11/22/2010 & rated 90 points: tasted at Total Wines' 'Sparkling and Champagne' wine class in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Total's discounted price was $12.99); made from 90% Pinot Noir grapes; gold colored, good bouquet; tasting revealed an intense, fruit-forward citrus cast with a moderately intense fruit character: apple, citrus; very good balance, moderately long finish; recommended (217 views)
Tasted by pian0_player on 10/15/2010 & rated 86 points: okay. I prefer the blanc de blanc. Some raspberry on the nose, citrus. Rather simple and aromatically challenged on the nose. weak bubbles. not bad for 12 bucks, kicks the crap out of korbel! i would just buy the blanc de blanc next time. (2667 views)
Tasted by aagrawal on 12/18/2009 & rated 88 points: Nose is floral but quite weak. Palate is good with fruits and a long finish. The bubbles are quote strong and actually a bit distracting. Maybe sparkling wines aren't for me. (2823 views)
Tasted by kris.h on 6/20/2008 & rated 87 points: Yummy stuff. I got lots of apple on the nose and palate. Clean and lively on the palate with a nice finish. (1935 views)
Tasted by Dont_panik on 2/19/2008 & rated 87 points: Decent texture, good dryness and not too sweet. Nothing spectacular and thin in the end, but for under $15, a decent value. (3054 views)
Tasted by THaas on 2/14/2008 & rated 89 points: A very rich, golden color, more onion-skin than anything else with a nose of raspberries and lightly toasted bread. In the mouth, the first flavor to hit is pear and apple, which is backed up by strawberry and raspberry. (2994 views)
Tasted by Karsko on 12/31/2007 & rated 75 points: Average. Good bubbles but nothing spectacular. (3516 views)
Tasted by GTwine on 7/5/2007: Very dry; not a lot of fruit. OK. (2065 views)
Tasted by peternelson on 12/10/2006 & rated 86 points: Chronicle: almost clear, inocuous stuff. The BdB was much better! (did I switch them up?). (1210 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
