(1142 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 12/8/2021: Medium yellow. Pungently varietal and brisk. Light for Mellot and free of oak influence. (1528 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 10/16/2021: Pale greenish yellow. Definite Sauvignon peppery citrus here. Lighter weight for Mellot without any trace of wood. Brisk grapefruit, very mineral. Remarkably primary and not very different compared to my note in 2018. Excellent age worthy Sancerre. (1486 views)

Tasted by DugyDog on 7/14/2020 & rated 94 points: Extremely pale in color but not flavor. Mineral driven; flinty; after it warms up to room temp I detect some jalapeño pepper on the finish (in a good, interesting way not overpowering). (857 views)
Tasted by NeuroWine on 7/12/2020 & rated 96 points: One of my favorite white wines. Paired with charcuterie and shrimp beautifully. Summer in a bottle! (846 views)
(955 views)
Tasted by NeuroWine on 3/8/2020 & rated 96 points: Almost perfect seafood wine. Paired beautifully with scallops and caviar, shrimp, mussels. A litrle briny, citrusy, mineral. Long finish. Sad I only have one left. (738 views)
Tasted by bps2266 on 5/3/2019: very good. nice medium weight with plenty of tart acid. has taken on a tinge of honey, flavors still dominated by lemongrass. medium length finish. ready to go. (1092 views)
Tasted by 560 B&W on 3/2/2019 & rated 92 points: PnP, consumed over two nights. A bit fuller-bodied than a typical Sancerre, but it works. Mid body, mid+ acid. 13% (1165 views)
Tasted by mjthompson on 2/17/2019 & rated 90 points: Yellow gold color, medium legs. It smells like apple. It tastes like apple and perhaps lemon, very dry. Good finish, worked well with a creamy cheese, interestingly. (1190 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 12/30/2018: Pale yellow green. Pungent varietal aromas. Typical Sancerre weight (which, to be clear, means light compared to most Mellot wines). Tart grapefruit, high acidity. This needs several years to unclench and flesh out. It would work best now with unadorned raw shellfish. (1693 views)
Tasted by bubbachumps on 9/8/2018 & rated 88 points: Second time having this wine and it may have been a bit off. Notes of pear and a touch of lemon on the nose. A sour quality in the mouth, that is somewhat off putting. All the other elements were pleasant and I've enjoyed numerous other Mellot offerings. (1800 views)
Tasted by sczetty on 11/4/2017 & rated 90 points: Delicious! Tart and sweet apples smooth and refreshing! (2087 views)
Tasted by sczetty on 4/21/2017 & rated 93 points: Delightful! Crisp apples. Silly. (2447 views)
| Tasted by bps2266 on 4/16/2017 & rated 92 points: translucent straw color. looks light but smells fat. lemon curd. light body, yet rich, creamy flavors dominated by lemongrass. there is also gray stone, some lemon zest, and a sharpness most closely rivaled by kiwi. finishes clean. great now, should evolve positively for 4-5 years.
