Tasted by Sanlucar on 12/14/2022 & rated 86 points: Too old! This wine is only good within 3 years of vintage date. The 2016 is beginning to turn yellow rather than its normal clear, light green. Very little fruit and almost completely green hay and grassy flavors. These bottles were chalky, dried out and kaput! (348 views)
Tasted by Neras on 9/27/2019 & rated 89 points: Nice. Very good value. (1135 views)
Tasted by Neras on 6/9/2019 & rated 88 points: Pleasant entry wine. (1195 views)
Tasted by Dionysusx on 2/22/2019 & rated 89 points: At first glance the wine was closed and bitter, perhaps slightly too chilled. Upon a second attempt the second day, and allowing the bottle to sit at room temperature, the aromatics started to shine.
Aerated for several minutes. Prominent mineral and floral notes carry the wine though the finish, joined by lemongrass, hints of melon and plenty of acidity.
Interesting. (1459 views)
Tasted by srh on 1/5/2019: Taste New Wines, Part 2 (San Diego Wine Co.): TOO cold

N: Lanolin like overlay to earthiness; Intensity lurking?

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt met by a crisp acidity which certainly defines the wine into & through the LONG, init very, VERY slightly tart finish which is ULT mitigated by a refined swtness. Classically done for now & probably through '20, though probably BEST for those with a high tolerance for acidity. 13.5% ABV; My EXC-. 90 pts WS & a "Best Buy", 89-91 WA (Dunnuck), & 88 WE @ $14. [While this vendor's $11.99 is competitive, wine-searcher does currently show a source @ $10.95.] (1527 views)
Tasted by wine_454 on 9/15/2018: Beautifully light straw in color, notes of strawberry, with a smooth dance across the palate. (1351 views)
Tasted by Onthelees on 6/11/2018: consummed two weeks ago. Recall floral aromas and flavors, silky mouthfeel, honey and and a very good QPR (943 views)
Tasted by MSheridan on 6/10/2018 & rated 89 points: Initially tasted around cellar temp showing itself to be quite floral with a slight oiliness and fairly high acidity to finish.
From the fridge the following day and I prefer it colder. Nice and crisp and refreshing. Would make for a good patio wine at this temp (819 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 11/4/2017 & rated 87 points: Light yellow color. Aromas of white flowers, sea breeze, clean laundry, on top of green apples and peaches. Pleasantly waxy texture but bright acidity, nice balance, and I get papaya and green apples drizzled with lime. Notes of chalk dust, dandelion, cut flower stems. Delicious, crisp, a reliable buy each vintage. Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu. (889 views)
