Tasted by Costes76 on 3/10/2024 & rated 93 points: Drink now. Fading. (2365 views)
Tasted by Rani on 3/7/2024 & rated 93 points: Nose of celery, brioche, strawberry. Fat yet delineated, opulent Chardonnay fruit, fine mousse, hint of milk chocolate on the finish, with a mineral backbone. (2152 views)
Tasted by Neecies on 2/26/2024 & rated 96 points: Stunning. A great bottle, best of the lot of six I purchased in 2018. Vivid flavors, cashmere textures, and a long, complex finish. This is why you age champagne. (2522 views)
Tasted by DAN BAILEY on 2/10/2024: Very pale yellow colour. Incredibly precise and elegant with a lovely lemon oil note. Thrilling. (2497 views)
Tasted by Topper on 1/18/2024 & rated 92 points: Lighter and brighter than many vintages. A little less substantial to me. Maybe it will gain more substance with time. Let's see. (2746 views)
Tasted by jnewman77 on 1/1/2024: Very nice bottle; complex and deep; the nose is almond croissant, lemon pastry, brioche, some mineral and soil tones; a very textural and rich palate with lots of depth. This has developed more from my prior bottles and its quite nice and still has plenty of life ahead. (2306 views)
Tasted by Alex Barbera on 1/1/2024 & rated 93 points: Happy new year (2019 views)
Tasted by bin905 on 12/31/2023 & rated 90 points: Nutty, yeasty nose. Rich body. Slightly bitter on the finish. (1769 views)
Tasted by Invest on 12/24/2023 & rated 94 points: An opportunity today ;-)

Nose: Bisquit and brioche.

Palate: Very fine perlage, biscuit, so fine and perfectly balanced, beautiful spice aromas, delicate lemon, good length, depth and persistence, 94-95. (2028 views)
Tasted by TMethvin1 on 12/24/2023: Drank at Rucker wedding (1645 views)
Tasted by james.williams5599@gmail.com on 11/21/2023: For SUPER SPECIAL OCCASIONS!! (2644 views)
Tasted by acyso on 9/24/2023 & rated 93 points: Dinner at D Cuisine (Chicago, IL): Huh. Somehow never crossed paths with a bottle of this before. It's a good iteration of Dom -- better than the 2010 and 2013, but obviously nowhere as compelling as the 2008 and 2012. Initially, a bit taut and showing more minerality versus fruit, but this definitely tightened up and gained more balance and depth as it got more air. One that I think is in a bit of an awkward phase right now, probably better to open something like a 2006 instead. (3963 views)
Tasted by DWStyle on 9/20/2023 & rated 94 points: Enjoyed at Stan’s 93rd Bday soirée at Miller & Lux from magnum. Delicious 😋 (3418 views)
Tasted by Sean Tay on 9/2/2023 & rated 92 points: My ninth bottle.

Medium+ nose with notes of lemon, bread, mineral, pear and apple. High acidity. (3195 views)
Tasted by G SQUARED on 8/21/2023 & rated 96 points: This took a bit of time to show it's true colors. Lovely. Give it an hour and let it warm up a little. (3484 views)
Tasted by DCHawkeye on 8/6/2023 & rated 94 points: At Wolftrap pre-Jason Mraz concert - thought this was drinking beautifully. (2917 views)
Tasted by shifter on 8/4/2023 & rated 94 points: PnP. Very flat and lifeless at first. Needed about an hour to unfurl and really show its stuff. Deliciously creamy mousse, great fruit profile, wonderful acid backbone. This is so immensely pleasurable to drink right now even if it is lacking some of the electricity and depth found in the '08. (2798 views)
Tasted by lozatron on 7/16/2023: Champagne Cornucopia - DP vs Krug MV (Chez D): A hint of a talc character to this? Started a conversation about dosage - this seemed very balanced to me, perhaps the 08 has more potential but now (and who knows for how much longer) this is a much more pleasurable wine. (3210 views)
Tasted by hprphf on 7/3/2023 & rated 92 points: Two bottles. On the sweet side but classic. 92-93 (3119 views)
Tasted by rjfix on 7/1/2023 & rated 90 points: A little muted (2695 views)
Tasted by affordableCollector on 6/27/2023 & rated 94 points: scattered fine bubbles. white gold, in color.
mango, red apple, warm pear, yellow peach, lemon pith, tangerine, toast, cream, hazelnut, cold coffee, yeast, saline, mineral. rich mousse, brioche, cream, citrus pith, depth, balanced, on a lasting finish. (2862 views)
Tasted by Montecalvo on 6/20/2023 & rated 93 points: Very much a Dom champagne. Not as concentrated or big on the palate but balanced and complex. (2847 views)
Tasted by Winsip on 6/6/2023 & rated 98 points: Pale yellow gold in color, attractive notes of yeast, brioche, red apple, toasted lemon, citrus and limestone.
Beautifully moussed, fine bubbles, so pure, so refined, perfect structure, medium bodied, a wonderful mineral coming through in mid-palate, creamy finish with great length. Drinking pleasantly today and will do the same for the next decade. The Dom Pérignon 2009 is all about charm, balance and elegance. Just great! (2494 views)
Tasted by Marc on 6/5/2023 & rated 97 points: Celebrating 140 Years with 7 chefs (Pokai Parera, Ekatahuna, New Zealand): Extraordinary Champagne of exquisite balance and breeding. Not a note out of place, and a most- refined autolysis character. Ethereal, and complete. (3074 views)
Tasted by Cailles on 5/21/2023 & rated 93 points: No notes taken. This has quite some charm, lots of orchard fruit, a fine salinity and some typical brioche and nutty notes. It misses a bit of complexity, but especially sharpness and tension of the better vintages but can for sure climb 1-2pts once it hits maturity. I would cellar the vintage another 10 years at least. 93/94pts today. (3783 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
