Community Tasting Notes (average 88.5 pts. and median of 89 pts. in 28 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by PMJak11 on 9/2/2023 & rated 88 points: Dark salmon color. High alcohol in my mind. Strawberries and vodka on the nose. Bold, slightly biting wine on the palate. Don’t think this was meant to age this long. (182 views)
Tasted by 559Cheers on 5/29/2021: Bottle was artistically designed though needed knife to open. Good Summer sipper. Didn’t know it was produced by Gerard Bertrand but it taste a little like his wines. (1115 views)
Tasted by bradfriedlander on 10/29/2020 & rated 79 points: Not very interesting. Didn't pair well with food. Received as a gift. Definitely not on our list. (1202 views)
Tasted by Kellig on 6/2/2020 & rated 90 points: Fuller mouth feel than some dry roses, tiny bit of bitterness on the front that was less appealing. Better on day 2. (1375 views)
Tasted by theebigjuan on 2/24/2020 & rated 84 points: Get it while it's hot! Meaning, don't let it sit this long. The aroma was weak and baked. The palate was watery and uninspiring. (1548 views)
Tasted by Baron Slick on 1/6/2020 & rated 88 points: Stonefruit, red berries, and orange citrus aromas. There's good balance on the palate, where peaches and citrus pith are held together by a good cut and a textural fatness. (962 views)
Tasted by peiming on 7/12/2019: Good (1302 views)
Tasted by peiming on 6/23/2019: Lite (1266 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 6/1/2019 & rated 90 points: Same observations as in prior notes. (1179 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 5/19/2019 & rated 90 points: Very nice. Fruity notes: strawberry and raspberry gives this more depth than your usual rose. A light touch of tannins. (1137 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 3/30/2019 & rated 90 points: Very nice. More tannins than your usual rose, but they are quite smooth and balance the acidity. More body than usual. (1136 views)
Tasted by studleytrey on 3/23/2019 & rated 88 points: Gave this one to my mother-in-law for the Bon Jovi novelty and she saved it to drink with me and here we are. Well, you know what? It's not bad. Medium to light salmon pink color. Aromas and flavors of wet slate, lime, and watermelon, with medium acid and finish. Good quaffer. (1224 views)
Tasted by Tiderunner22 on 3/8/2019 & rated 88 points: Pleasant wine however, overpriced at $22. (913 views)
Tasted by mrmikemtr on 1/18/2019 & rated 87 points: Qpr demerits. Not worth the orice. Pleasant and easy drinking but should be $12 not 24$. (933 views)
Tasted by MC2 Wines on 10/19/2018: Wine Spectator newbies; 10/18/2018-10/20/2018 (Marriott Marquis): I'll admit I was skeptical of this wine, but actually it was quite ok. I'm not sure it really stands out. It's very much in that group of good southern france rose. Hints of crushed sweet tart. Some red fruits. Fairly fresh. Blend between Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvedre. (2101 views)
Tasted by jvphoto on 9/13/2018 & rated 87 points: 87 & Neutral with potential to be 89 & I Like It but this was the last glass poured from an opened bottle at a pool bar so I feel it may have lost a little life. Nevertheless ripe juicy red fruit nose. Palate with raspberry, green papaya & strawberry.
Something I’d seek out a fresh bottle of for summer. (932 views)
Tasted by slywka7 on 7/4/2018 & rated 90 points: Aromas of strawberry, cherry and watermelon. Flavors of pretty much the same but with a lime note. Ends with a nice 25 second finish. I wanted to doubt this wine for reason but I can't help but like it. Nice acidity and refreshing in the 95+ degree heat. Never doubt Gérard Bertrand. He makes fine wines. (1188 views)
Tasted by ChopperWine on 6/28/2018 & rated 89 points: Loved it. Actually much more than my 89 score, but it really is hard to judge a rose on the same scale as a fine Burgandy for example. Floral. Tart, but subtle. Strawberry. Watermelon. Stone. From the grapes of the Languedoc region in southern France which tends to, in my opinion give this rose a less tannic mouthfeel and a more creamy/less sweet taste. Well done !! (1460 views)
