| Community Tasting Notes (average 89.6 pts. and median of 91 pts. in 5 notes) - hiding notes with no text | | Tasted by TannicBeast on 11/12/2019 & rated 91 points: Discovering Italian Wine Course at the Texas Wine School. 100% Verdicchio. Medium yellow with a gold hue. The nose is clean, medium (+) to pronounced in intensity, with really nice aromas of white flowers, ripe apple, lime, tropical fruit, sea spray and wet stone. One fifth of this Verdicchio spends 12 months in oak barriques. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium (+) to high alcohol (14.0%), medium (+) flavor intensity and a slight chewiness on the finish. The extra year of age and the partial oak aging seems to lead to a slightly more rounded and savory wine, with great complexity and depth. Very good quality. Tasted again on 7/30/20 with consistent results (636 views) | | Tasted by Paul852 on 7/3/2019 & rated 86 points: This needs a little air and to be not too cold. Then white fruits on the nose and the palate. It's nice, but for me the balance isn't as good as some others from this region/grape.
