A bit like a White Burgundy or Chenin Blanc. Golden, almost orange in color. Nose of pear and red spple, hint of orange, honeysuckle, melon. Medium bodied, good mouthfeel, balanced acidity, dry but not astringent. Fairly long finish for a white wine. Hint of lemon on backend. Nice complexity. Overall a very nice wine. (311 views) | | Tasted by SuperSomm on 3/25/2022: Pale lemon colour. Medium and youthful nose with pear, peach, wet stone, almonds and jasmine. Medium taste of pear, peach, almonds, jasmine, wet stone and lemon. Medium long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium body. A very good Italian blend. Drink now. Goes well with fish or shellfish. Mandarin and pink grapefruit in the mouth, then elderflower but with a backbone of something more savoury. Over time, pears/pear drops emerge. An acidic finish lingers (187 views) | | Tasted by Keith Clark on 12/24/2021 & rated 87 points: A big yet restrained floral nose - rose, elderflower, maybe honeysuckle, orange blossom. Mandarin and pink grapefruit flavours with elderflower and then a sweet-savoury backbone; also pears and peardrops. Lingering acid on the finish. (232 views) |
