Tasted by jmoore431 on 11/30/2021 & rated 93 points: PC73’s note is right on. Aged GC Chablis in a perfect place at 10 yrs age. 93+ (857 views)
 Tasted by PC73 on 10/4/2021 & rated 93 points: Under diam 10

Roundness and balance. Oyster shells on the nose. Citrus notes and minerality.
Sweetness of fruit, rounder and a touch of richness. Real complexity and depth.
Really lovely bottle of Chablis. The grand cru quality really shone through. (676 views)
Tasted by NostraBacchus on 10/16/2020 & rated 94 points: I haven‘t had this in a few years. The color looks fresh, youthful and how it should look for top-notch Grand Cru Chablis. This takes a little time to open up in the glass. Notes of lemon oil, the oak is much better integrated than last time, buttery notes too, creamy richness, lemon zest, but there is also a beautiful minerality of chalk, wet stone, some flint, seashells. With more air there is more fruit coming out and the wine turns a touch spicier too with white pepper, hazelnut and some white blossoms too and a touch of honey. It‘s medium-full bodied, rich and pretty creamy, but with high bracing acidity and piercing minerality. Long finish with beautiful complexity. This seems to be at he beginning of peak-drinking. Lovely Chablis Grand Cru from this cool, classic vintage. (1494 views)
Tasted by cypra on 8/5/2020 & rated 91 points: Intese yellow nearly straw yellow. Nice bouquet typical for Chablis ripe apple, spicy, minerality. But acid is still vivid but overall clealy matured. It may hold longer for a few year, but start to drink up. (906 views)
Tasted by vide on 4/19/2020 & rated 91 points: A wine that took three days to come in from under its bland shadow. Typical but lovely light lemon-lime colour: very clear, very pure. Nose of flint and green mango: pleasant but I have had better; taste, nicely balanced but just a little flat across the mid-palate.

All in all, O.K, but something missing here for me for a grand cru.

It might get better, but I don't think so. (681 views)
Tasted by acidqueen on 5/28/2018 & rated 89 points: This is a good wine, but I can’t say that I would have picked it blind as Chablis. Certainly plenty of acid and citrus and stone cut to it, but not the je ne sais quoi flavor that defines Chablis for me. It has a softer creaminess over the underlying firmness that is not as typical. Definitely some wood still there. I preferred the 2011 Dauvissat Petit Chablis that we drank that same night.  Tasted by winelegends.net on 4/23/2017 & rated 93 points: Blasses Goldgelb grüne Reflexe
Zitrus,Birne ,würzig,auch leicht exotisch.
Gute Balance,reich,dicht....mittellanger gelbfruchtiger Abgang.
Hat mit viel Belüftungszeit irgendwann eine seifige Gemüsenote die mir nicht so zusagt, aber denke das sie irgendwann integriert wird. (1379 views)
Tasted by NostraBacchus on 9/17/2016 & rated 94 points: Medium-golden color. Explosive notes of citrus (lemon zest, ripe lemon), some butter, a touch of popcorn, a masses of minerality (like wet stone, chalk, flintstone), also some seashells and notes of hazelnut and honeyblossom. It's medium-full bodied, pretty rich, but with piercingly high acidity cutting through it. Very good length and finishes with a touch of bitterness. An excellent Grand Cru Chablis from this great producer. Still at the beginning of its drinking window... can't wait to see how this will age! (2008 views)
Tasted by UK Don on 12/25/2015 & rated 94 points: Stunning concentrated Chablis. With a couple of hours decanted drinks well now. (1672 views)
Tasted by UK Don on 1/4/2014 & rated 93 points: Absolutely lovely. Won't be going near another one for a couple of years though. (2564 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio

Chablis

Chablis (Fédération de Défense de l'Appellation Chablis) | Chablis (Burgundy Wines)

2014 Vintage Notes:
"... a hybrid of 2004/2007 and 2010. The stone, citrus and limestone amalgam is exactly what we search for in Chablis as the style harkens to a day in the Cote de Beaune proper (1960's - 1980's) when wine was not meant to be consumed the week it was released, battonage was not used by all and new oak was rarely seen ... the texture is natural and 'of the vintage' not 'of the winemaker' .... Like Sancerre or the Loire in general, 2014 in Chablis is one of those rare years with extract and transparency. It appears to be a vintage for the "neoclassic" ages and those of us intent on cellaring the most terroir-driven (but still powerful) examples of vineyard, site-place and varietal will want to invest (heavily) in the magnetic and electric 2014's." - Jon Rimmerman

2018 Vintage Notes:
"There’s not that razor sharp Chablis acidity in 2018,” says Patrick Piuze. “But there is good definition of place. The dry conditions drove vines to drink deeper down in the soil profile."
