Tasted by Ozmango on 1/8/2024 & rated 94 points: Dark plumb in colour. Delightfully juicy cornucopia wafts from the glass. Legs. Soft succulent Shiraz fruit balanced by firm tannins. Excellent. Plenty of time left for this one. (96 views)
Tasted by Ozmango on 3/1/2023 & rated 93 points: Not much change from Dec 2022. Lovely medium bodied Hunter Shiraz from a classy year. Clean, juicy compote of red berries. Tannins soft. The oak well integrated. Still think 15 years is the limit for enjoying at peak. (146 views)
Tasted by Ozmango on 12/13/2022 & rated 93 points: Well 2022 is almost done. I had mentioned opening another this year. Unusual for me to stick to my timetable. Maturing well. Plush berry aromas, tea? Medium bodied cherry red. Soft fruit with a firm dry tannic backbone. Dry finish. Improving. Open again in 2025 (163 views)
Tasted by GD77 on 1/18/2020 & rated 94 points: This is coming along very nicely. Ripe fruit with the framework to back it up and currently presents bold but in balance. The fruit is striking and forward. Blackberries and a bit of leather on the nose. Blueberries with a dollop of milk chocolate thrown in on the palate. Hunter all the way. Acid is right on. It's very generous and carries itself well. Think vat 9 or op&oh from the best years. Has more to give. (437 views)
Tasted by Ozmango on 4/22/2017 & rated 92 points: Our tasting bottle. Had with roast beef. Good food match. Medium cherry red colour showing its youth. Good shiraz fruit. Soft yet firm tannins. I believe the 14% alcohol will limits its aging potential to 15 years maximum. Best review again in 2022 (696 views)
