Tasted by Ardross on 12/18/2022 & rated 90 points: Lovely stuff a point now . (312 views)
Tasted by Gargantua on 3/27/2022: Kept its promise. I'd forgotten just how dry and racy my beloved 2014 white Burg vintage was! Getting more honeyed and grilled nuts on nose; more textured; more tidepool aromas. So great! I'd guess these are peaking, but will hold for a year or two. (672 views)
Tasted by aChave on 11/4/2020 & rated 90 points: This wine has developed beautifully. Still a nice clean wine with a good spine, but has rounded out and become more generous. Well above class. (784 views)
Tasted by aChave on 2/24/2020 & rated 91 points: Absolutely delicious. Lemon with tangerine nuances. Moved to grapefruit after an hour. Medium /light body. Moderate finish... not sharp, but lively and good mouth feel. (849 views)
Tasted by Montecalvo on 3/4/2019 flawed bottle: corked (1173 views)
Tasted by aChave on 12/1/2018 & rated 89 points: A lot to like. Exceptional Bourgogne; drink anytime. (1060 views)
Tasted by Overlook on 11/22/2018: Ripe fruit, hint of smoke, yellow fruit, some stone fruit, touch of peach and spice in finish. Medium+ acidity, medium body. At a very good spot now, drank even better on day two. (848 views)
Tasted by jnewman77 on 1/7/2018: This is quite tasty and a pleasure to drink after an oxidized bottle of Meursault... pear, apple, lemon, hazelnut, white floral notes. Palate has lovely energy and depth and overall has very good balance and finish for the level. A very solid value white Burgundy. (1062 views)
Tasted by d'Artagnan on 6/21/2017 & rated 89 points: Beaucoup de vin dans le verre, excellent, avec une belle finale en finesse, sur la minéralité. Excellent. 89-90 pts (1448 views)
Tasted by jnewman77 on 3/25/2017: The nose here is initially reserved, but with time opens to reveal crisp apple, hazelnut, and lemon curd. The palate is fresh, crisp, has delicious minerality, and is overall just quite pleasurable. An excellent intro to white Burgundy and a very good value. (1141 views)
Tasted by aChave on 2/6/2017 & rated 90 points: Bourgogne blanc at its best. Fresh with the superb complexity and balance of the vintage. Good body and fragrance with immediacy out of the bottle, but only improves with air. Hard to resist, but at the price there's no reason not to indulge! Should be excellent over the next 1-3+ years. See it...buy it. (1166 views)
Tasted by derek.hara@sbcglobal.net on 11/10/2016 & rated 91 points: ...agree with Gargantua. Beautiful, light-footed Meursault. Nice lemony acidity washes down medium-bodied and slightly creamy midpalate which makes for a very balanced finish. (1328 views)
Tasted by MRichman on 9/29/2016: Petaluma Wine Group BYO at Seared: Lemony, steely, full malo. Nice clean finish. Bright with stone fruit. (1311 views)
Tasted by Gargantua on 6/16/2016 & rated 91 points: Ravishing bottle of declassified Meursault. Does its dance with poise, lean bright form, and proper 2014 acidity. You can't have enough of this. (1020 views)
Tasted by LW31 on 6/14/2016 & rated 86 points: Nice, straightforward bourgogne blanc. A bit fat. Poured by the glass at a bar. (860 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
