Best thing it has to offer is a handy screw cap. Choices were limited at a vacation supermarket. As the old Knight guarding the Grail uttered in The Last Crusade Raiders movie... "He chose, poorly." (869 views) | | Tasted by daver852 on 5/28/2021 & rated 84 points: Another "bargain bin" find- although this one was not such a bargain. Good color, attractive nose. Not very fruity, many off-notes on the palate. Just seems disjointed and not very attractive. Can't really put my finger on it, but this is just not right for a wine in its price range. Not horrible, but not something I'd buy again at any price. (641 views) | | Tasted by CMN on 9/6/2020: Typical flavors of a mass market California — tropical flavors and lemon accented by buttery oak. Mouthfeel is somewhat rounded with appropriate acidity. There’s not a lot of depth to this wine, but it’s built in a style that will have mass appeal. Better served on the cool side as the oak grew more prominent/more bitter with air. Nice Chard, good value - would buy it again (909 views) | | Tasted by Baron Slick on 3/14/2020 & rated 89 points: Starts out with ripe apples, Nilla wafers, jackfruit, brioche, and a touch autolytic. The palate is tightly wound, but slowly reveals brown butter and baking spices on a slippery smooth texture. Punches above its weight. (301 views) | | Tasted by xbrxx on 1/20/2020 & rated 90 points: Butter chard with green apple and hints of peach fuzz. Simple pleasing wine. (709 views) | | Tasted by knorthrip on 1/3/2020 & rated 87 points: Pretty straight forward. Lemon, green apple, mineral, and a fair helping of oak with a touch of phenolic bitterness. (553 views) | | Tasted by Repmem on 9/23/2019: Good everyday wine (798 views) | | Tasted by Pbriones on 7/24/2019 & rated 87 points: Golden in the glass. Slightly sweet as it goes down with I think a strong acidity throughout. Easy drink. Decent wine. Better bottles out there for the price (767 views) | | Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 7/2/2019 & rated 88 points: Rich gold color. Smells rich and juicy with yellow apples, apricot jam, cinnamon spice and honeysuckle. Plump texture on the palate with a juicy, round feel, but the medium acidity balances it nicely. Green and yellow apples and pears, juicy and fresh fruit, and the notes of salted almond, coconut and vanilla are nuanced and mixed well with some salty, floral perfume tones. This shows an impressive amount of personality and vibrancy for this price point. (764 views) | | Tasted by Macki on 8/16/2018: Classic buttery oaky Cali chard done well. Checks all the boxes and gets it done at price. (693 views) |

Chardonnay The Chardonnay GrapeUSAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson Central Coasthttp://www.ccwinegrowers.org/links.html
