Tasted by Erolso1 on 7/21/2013 & rated 90 points: Excellent sav blanc. Great QPR. loved to sip this and kept returning to the bottle for another splash. round and bright, hint of sweetness but gives way to citrus. tasty (2744 views)
Tasted by connel20 on 11/11/2012 & rated 89 points: Nice Sauvignon Blanc - would buy again at the right price (2228 views)
Tasted by Marcdymond on 7/21/2012 & rated 92 points: Excellent wine. A touch of butter and a great bouquet. Haven't paired it with food yet but just sipping has been great. (2741 views)
Tasted by Timo944 on 7/5/2012 & rated 89 points: Strong notes of sweet apples, pears, and a little honey made this medium dry Sauvignon Blanc a treat with a Nicoise salad. Very nicely balanced with a great finish, glad I bought a 6-pack. (2411 views)
Tasted by goblu6 on 6/7/2012 & rated 89 points: Very zesty and refreshing both on the nose and the palate. I liked this first glass a lot. Should be easy drinking over a hot weekend. (1967 views)
Tasted by andrewshi on 6/1/2012: great white for $10 (1507 views)
Tasted by UMhemePA on 5/16/2012: The wine looks Yellow colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Grapefruit, and Pineapple. It tastes like Mineral, and Honeysuckle. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Short. (1358 views)
Tasted by JasonG on 5/9/2012 & rated 86 points: Good, complex nose. Creamed ear, apricot, touch of vanilla. Easy drinking, but lacking that extra zing or clarity of fruit on finish. Seemed better really cold, but I liked the aromas when warmer. I'm mixed. But good for the price. (1396 views)
Tasted by edarrincox on 5/5/2012 & rated 89 points: Very pleasant; easy drinkability. (1387 views)
Tasted by Tamu1956 on 4/28/2012: A very floral nose with a crisp taste, strong apple with hints of pear and melon. Excellent finish with no bitterness. The strength of the crispness / apple reduced with air and became very smooth. A very nice Sav Blanc. (1542 views)
Tasted by merlot78 on 1/8/2012 & rated 87 points: Liked. Stood up nicely to spaghetti with garlic and oil and broccoli. (2090 views)
Tasted by merlot78 on 12/11/2011 & rated 87 points: Enjoyable and easy drinking. Some citris, lemon notes and a hint of grassyness. (2133 views)
Tasted by chadrich on 10/26/2011 & rated 89 points: Reserved nose with notes of flint and lemon zest. Palate is clean and refreshing with grapefruit; finish is acidically tart with a grassy note. This wouldn't be confused with a NZ SB. Very drinkable, a good porch or picnic choice. (2179 views)
Tasted by Parnelli on 9/13/2011 & rated 86 points: Sorry ... I like to measure my sauv blancs up against Kim Crawford and this is much more subtle. It is more a light grassy wine than a citrus wine. We had this with shrimpcakes and it didn't have the citrus to match the cakes. (2259 views)

Varietal Character

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
