Tasted by ras2006 on 10/29/2020 & rated 91 points: Holding up well, good fruit (cherries), tannin, and acid (tad of sharpness), medium body edging towards full bodied.
Pretty much agree with the others that comment, but extends this thru 2020 - very nice wine at this price (307 views)
Tasted by N2Vin on 8/31/2011 & rated 93 points: Wow! One of the joys of buying and ageing wine is every once in a while you are rewarded many times over. Such is the case with this 2000 Bin 61 Shiraz from Leasingham. A deep and rich ruby red color showing little or no sign of age. Wonderful ripe red fruits on the nose with loads of spice and smoke along with subtle oak. The nuances of age are certainly showing in this wine as the tannins are totally resolved and it shows a very old world style of evolution. This is so nice to drink now but has more time before it fades. Quite a wine for $13. (3155 views)
Tasted by wine4ever on 4/17/2009 & rated 92 points: Outstanding....and as good as it's ever been, if not better. It's in it's prime drinking window and probably still has another 5-7 years if cellared properly. One of the best QPRs in wine....bought for $15 dollars (I should give it an even higher score for that). Medium-heavy bodied. Creamy, smooth texture, but still some tannins in the background. Well balanced, good structure, long finish. Lots of dark fruits, a touch of oak, hint of licorice, vanilla, and chocolate. Yum! (2872 views)
Tasted by cpdwines on 2/14/2009 & rated 93 points: Wow...wasn't expecting this from a wine I picked up at Costco several years ago. Forgot I had it. Chocolate, blackberry, spice and pepper. This was a wine that just kept on giving and evolving. Wish I had more. (2979 views)
Tasted by thebonnydooner on 4/27/2007 & rated 89 points: Very nice - nice hint of maturity over the cassis and blackberry fruit. Juicy and well balanced with soft dry tannins. Nice herbal stalky edge. Drinking about peak i think. (3426 views)
Tasted by ersaderajr on 12/5/2005 & rated 89 points: Initial nose of mushroom, earth, lychee and leather. After 30 minutes the black cherry, smoke and spice emerge. Full bodied, nice mouth feel. Finishes a tad hot but with some nice pepper, cherry and earth notes. (3806 views)
Tasted by N2Vin on 11/4/2005 & rated 84 points: A strange wine. May have been corked (2331 views)
Tasted by chadross007 on 10/8/2005 & rated 91 points: Great nose - chocolate and leather, like a candy bar melted on the front seat of my car. Big black fruit up front - but strong tannins immediately followed, almost overpowering the fruit. I had expected much more softening on this wine after 5 yrs, and I will hold my other 2 bottles for at least another year. This might have done well with some air - maybe decant or let sit for 60-90 minutes.
Quite strong alcohol mouthfeel - almost a camphor-like cooling sensation, masking some of the softer flavor on the finish. Still can pick out some interesting herby notes.
A very good wine, especially for the price. (2211 views)
Tasted by Old_Winyards on 6/25/2005 & rated 91 points: Big fruit up front, particularly cherry and blackberry, with some spice, cassis, and notable oak. Toward the midpalate I'm also picking up something like leather or tobacco. First night the tannins were still a bit rough on the finish, but 24 hours after opening, the it has smoothed out into a silky smoothe finish. This is hitting on all cylinders for me right now.  Tasted by Hillel on 4/29/2005 & rated 90 points: Big big fruit up front. Almost a little unbalanced. Longish finish that's not entirely great. Turns slightly bitter as time goes by. Overall needs more time I think. (2501 views)
Tasted by Hillel on 11/27/2004 & rated 90 points: Cherries. Round. Tannins. Really quite good. Especially for the price. (2523 views)
Tasted by Hillel on 1/3/2004 & rated 92 points: Raspberry. Jammy. Tart in a good way. Sparkling on the tongue. Very yummy. (2440 views)
