Tasted by Portland Seth on 12/25/2019 & rated 93 points: Drinking spectaculary. Cassis, blackberry, pencil shavings, lavender, violets and limestone with a plum finish. Better than their CdP offering and it costs less. Yum, yum! (442 views)
Tasted by myofin on 12/15/2018 & rated 87 points: There was plenty of dark plummy fruit and lead pencil flavors, but the chalky tannins were unresolved. Tasted it over two days: the fruit became more nuanced, added some cedar notes, but the tannins were too strong. (722 views)
Tasted by greidy on 9/30/2016 & rated 90 points: Nice ruby color, whitish narrow rim, mixture of red and blue fruits, some mushrooms and earth, good finish. Not bad at all... (959 views)

Red Rhone Blend

Read about the different grapes used to produce red and white Rhone wines
On CellarTracker, Red Rhone Blend is the term for a wine consisting of two or more of the traditional 13 Southern Rhone grape varieties. Typically it's the Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre or Cinsault grapes, but can also contain the Muscardin, Counoise, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Picpoul, Roussanne, Terret Noir, Picardan or Vaccarese grapes.

A 'food' wine. Lacking pretension and intended for local consumption with local cuisine. Lacks the 'high' notes on a Bordeaux, more earthy and sharper so often a better partner to meat dishes with a sauce.
