| Tasted by HStaal on 8/30/2010 & rated 86 points: OK - Bought to be and used as cooking wine: deep ruby in appearance; alcoholic; big full bodied alcoholic wine with strong bouquet of black fruit; jammy black fruit and still tannic on palate; softened on air; big bruiser of a wine; slight sour aftertaste on the tip of the tongue – turning ?? | Tasted by whynblog on 2/26/2009 & rated 90 points: Jammy blackberry nose leads to more of the same across the palate. It also picks up a spicy/smokey note that lasts all the way through the finish. Interesting and easy to drink. (6808 views) |
| Tasted by THaas on 10/18/2008 & rated 85 points: Ruby-red in the glass. Light floral and strawberry notes in the nose. Strawberry, cassis, cedar smoke and spice in the mouth, finishes with sweet pipe tobacco. Medium-bodied, moderate acidity, well-balanced. Long finish. (6653 views) |

| Tasted by Riezin on 12/15/2007: Was a bit disappointed with this wine. 1st time trying it. Didnt find it to have much in the way of any traditional shiraz aromas or flavors. Not even Aussie hallmarks - beyond the high alcohol. Shared with Adam/Andrea pre-Chanukah party. Will wait a bit on other bottle to see if it comes together any and gets more interesting.
