Tasted by rodbender on 3/3/2013 & rated 85 points: This is a pleasant table wine that is not very complex. Not a strong scent of fruit but tha taste is very fruity and pleasing. There is little in the way of Tannins. this wine goes down easily and I would have it again. (5389 views)
| Tasted by jbbmttx on 11/11/2012 & rated 85 points: Always above average because the wine will step up as your everyday red wine and the price is so attractive. In my opinion the QPR is quite good. Aroma is slight as grape in the sun and greenery. Mild tannin on initial presentation with sweet and light smoke. Capped and in the fridge, it waits patiently for another day of enjoyment. Additionally, this wine can cook as when you are adding the splash or glug to the simmering pot of tomato sauce. The over all impression leave one feeling that this wine is pretty darn good. . | Tasted by g1976b on 11/9/2011 & rated 80 points: Enjoyed this with homemade pizza (chicken, spinach, red sauce, onions, goat cheese on WW crust). A bit weak/watery...especially on the finish. It's a decent wine, but nothing to write home about. Something about the nose seemed "off" but it did not follow to the actual taste of the wine. Overall it was very much a "weekday wine". | Tasted by boldntannic on 9/23/2011 & rated 87 points: This is a nice red blend for mid-week quaffing. It features nice fruit on the nose and upon entry. The structure and finish is appropriate for it's modest price point (sub-$7.00 when discounted). We'll continue to buy this when it's on sale. (2764 views) |

Tasted by boogeyone on 7/2/2011 & rated 85 points: Never surprises, never disappoints. Better than most California blends at this price level. (2931 views)
Tasted by boldntannic on 6/15/2011 & rated 84 points: I grabbed this 2009 bottle by mistake, intending instead to enjoy one of the last of our 2007 bottles. As it is, this was our first tasting of the 2009 vintage. Gone from the 2007 label is the list at the bottom declaring this offering to be a zinfandel, syrah, cabernet sauvignon blend. Soooo...the blend constituents are a mystery. Perhaps the Coppola website will reveal these. This wine didn't seem as rich or complex as the 2007 vintage. It exhibits some pleasing dark fruit on the nose and up front on entry, but the structure seems diminished from 2007. We'll hope this is singular to this particular bottle and future samplings measure up to the 2007 vintage. Cheers! (2995 views)
Tasted by nearlymonolith on 5/11/2011 & rated 83 points: Good table wine. Unsurprising, with a good amount of character to it. Would gladly drink with pasta any and all days of the week. (3063 views)
Tasted by ICaWineGuy on 5/4/2011 & rated 84 points: Cherry and fruity, but no real depth of flavor and no length. Decent but not outstanding QPR. Nothing to write home about. (3091 views)
Tasted by dgrage on 4/26/2011 & rated 86 points: Nice, easy drinking blend -- low intensity but pleasant nose, and the flavor is not too complex but well balanced, full enough and enjoyable. (3149 views)

Francis Ford Coppola Producer websiteUSAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson CaliforniaNapa Valley.http://www.stagecoachvineyard.com/vineyards/our_vineyards.php Santa Ynez.http://www.everyvine.com/org/Camp_Four/vineyard/Camp_Four/
