Tasted by Markus IWC on 4/6/2015 & rated 87 points: Lugn och mjuk, härlig enkel zinfandel. Doft av mörka bär, långt slut för då ungt vin. (546 views)
Tasted by forceberry on 10/6/2014 & rated 74 points: Translucent cherry red color. Surprisingly flat and unexpressive nose with just very light and vague dark fruit aromas. The wine is full-bodied, rich and quite hot on the palate with low acidity, flabby mouthfeel and rather sweet flavors of cherry jam, peppery spice, some toasty oak and a hint of plums. The finish is rich, how and somewhat sweet with quite long flavors of peppery spice, jammy dark berries, some plummy fruits and a hint of vanilla.

Meh. Soft, sweet and hot. So very typical of inexpensive Zinfandel. Dull, boring and uninspiring. Although this is miles away from the worst offenders in this style, I still can't really recommend. (1202 views)
Tasted by somecallmetim1 on 8/18/2014: Earthy. Mild. (2375 views)
Tasted by ianwesley on 2/17/2014 & rated 84 points: Poor. Very jammy and no complexity. Avoid if you can. (2638 views)
 Tasted by BoireBio on 10/6/2013 & rated 88 points: 16,5/20 * * * 1/2 LCBO:20$
Tasted by Lyubomir Lefterov on 6/17/2013 & rated 85 points: Some sweet fruits, nothing wrong but not my cup of tea, no tannin structure, cant see it improve with time, did not enjoyed it much. (2666 views)
Tasted by askoje on 2/26/2013 & rated 84 points: Dark plums, crowberries, sweet fruit and hints of vanilla.
Taste followes the nose, very warm and light styled Zin. Lacks complexity and balance. (2578 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 2/5/2013 & rated 85 points: Blind Zinfandels; 2/3/2013-2/6/2013 (My Place - Washington, DC): Interesting mix of aromas: raspberry jam, Maraschino cherries, roses, all fresh and bright. Really juicy on the palate, showing lots of strawberry and blood orange fruit. Medium-to-low acid, and the tannins have a bit of an astringency to them. Some sugar cane and caramel flavors last onto the finish with just a hint of earth. A juicy, easy-drinking style. (1799 views)
Tasted by djarcara on 2/4/2013 & rated 82 points: Grapey. Jammy. Loamy. No complexity. (1128 views)
Tasted by affordableCollector on 2/2/2013 & rated 85 points: ZAP 2013 (San Francisco, CA): maroon in color. earth, dark fruit, mushroom, on the nose. oak, blueberry, blackberry, mocha, floral, tart cherry, on the palate. light acid, medium tannins on the finish. (1797 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 2/2/2013 & rated 84 points: Medium dark cherry red color; baked berry, baked black fruit nose; baked berry, baked black fruit palate with low acidity; medium finish (782 views)
Tasted by AWBryce on 12/16/2012 & rated 89 points: Light purple in colour. Fairly one dimensional nose of strawberries, perhaps a hint of rubber.

Taste similar to nose, big strawberry on the front, mid palate is lacking acidity, but it has nice grippy tannins. Finish is of red fruit and length is moderate. (801 views)

ZAP: Zinfandel Advocates & Producers | Varietal character (Appellation America) | Wikipedia-Zinfandel

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson

North Coast

The North Coast American Viticultural Area (AVA) in California, covering more than three million acres, includes Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake counties, and portions of Marin and Solano counties. (see The Wine Institute for more information)
