Tasted by JaynPam on 2/7/2015 & rated 80 points: Sweeter than I like, not a great wine. (1275 views)
Tasted by Ecb1456 on 2/15/2014 & rated 86 points: Fruit everywhere. Peach and strawberries with a hint of kiwi. Thin mouth feel that comes off a little lumpy. A little too busy at times and needs to be cold or a slightly harsh burn will percolate through. Had with fish and it holds up well but anything with acidity would turn this into a toxic mess. Fine for sipping before dinner or after the palate is cleansed. (1494 views)
Tasted by Martin Redmond on 2/10/2014 & rated 86 points: Pale green tinged golden color with appealing honeysuckle, pear, apple and a bit of citrus and sweet spice aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, medium-love acidity, and off-dry with a nice mouthfeel, and pear, apple, guava, and spice flavors. Medium-finish. (1539 views)
Tasted by MarshPDX on 4/8/2013 & rated 85 points: Nice drinking wine. (1616 views)

2012 Geyser Peak Uncensored

Growing Season: A nearly ideal season was delivered for vintage 2012. A very mild winter with plenty of rain prepared the vines for an early start in the spring. Excellent calm, still weather during bloom ensured a healthy set and the crop was abundant. Mild summer temperatures allowed for steady ripening. The white varietals used in this blend generally ripened early in the season with the exception of White Riesling that was grown in the Russian River Valley and was slow to mature. Winemaking style, varietal blend: Aromatic white varietals lend themselves to fermentation in stainless steel without the influence of oak. This process allows the natural aromatics to shine through and the beautiful subtleties of each varietal to be optimized. Blending of these complementary varietals layers the final wine and offers dimensions of floral, spice, and fruit that provide complexity without weight.

White Blend

"White blend" means the wine is made from a blend of two or more different white varieties - or in some cases a blend of pink or red varieties that are vinified white, ie. without any skin contact.
A blend of Antao, Arinto, Rouperio.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
