Tasted by wino121 on 10/31/2021 & rated 92 points: PNP, still delicious, fresh too, so it seemed.
Ripe easy fruit with a seamless finish. This is in a great spot now.
Drink now plus 2-4.years (722 views)
Tasted by wino121 on 8/8/2021 & rated 89 points: Vinturied into decant, consumed over several hours.
This hasn’t aged well, my earlier btls were certainly better. The ripe fruit is disappearing
into a overly oaked mismatch.
Past prime and descending.
Drink now thru now. (780 views)
Tasted by vinus_operandi on 11/21/2019 & rated 90 points: full bodied and dark crimson in color. shows with a nose of plum, cassis, and cedar. on the palate I get blackberry, heavy plum, blueberry, cassis, and a bit too much oak. a little too ripe and over the top with 14.6 abv. not exactly a fruit bomb, but classic cali cab nonetheless. I enjoyed earlier bottles better....go figure! (1525 views)
Tasted by dgcaldwell on 4/8/2019 & rated 90 points: Decanted for 45 min, great nose and jammy body, but it felt like it was truncated and was not completely opened up. (1586 views)
Tasted by EMark on 4/21/2018: VERY solid wine. Typical, black fruit on the tip of the tongue—cassis, blackberry. Some dustiness. I would say that as a result of the years bottle age the tannins that have provided nice structure are very much resolved. So, not in your face. Very pleasant, lingering aftertaste. (2044 views)
Tasted by Baron Slick on 1/18/2018 & rated 92 points: Attractive bouquet exhibits black raspberries, cherries, and a hint of game atop earthy elements of conifer, mint, and garrigue. Savory, structured, and ferrous, this gets darker and broodier with air, but there's plenty of fruit to make it come across as lithe and tensile. Mountain fruit lingers on the finish. (1739 views)
Tasted by wino121 on 9/28/2017 & rated 92 points: Vinturied, and decanted for about 30mins.
Drinking well, well integrated at this point.
Drink now plus 3.. but why wait. (2199 views)
Tasted by r4Cali on 4/16/2017 & rated 94 points: The good old days, where I paid $30 for this. Wine punched way over its weight for this price. Bumped up 2 points higher due to great QPR. (1882 views)
Recomendable (1902 views)
Tasted by BlancdeBlanc on 3/17/2016 & rated 88 points: Aroma: black licorice. Palate: graphite, dark chocolate, dark fruits, plummy (2635 views)
Tasted by Ryan.Vento on 1/25/2016 & rated 90 points: Received this wine from one of those random Wall Street Journal-esque online wine clubs; pretty solid. Just the usual dark, elegant fruits like plum and blackberry with a lovely hint of licorice and leather. (382 views)
Tasted by ecola on 12/3/2015 & rated 90 points: This has really improved over the last 18 months. Fuller body and more intensity of dark fruit. Secondary flavors of a little leather and tobacco. Medium length finish. A very Napa cab. (2681 views)
Tasted by kmcclen on 10/23/2015: Minneapolis Club (2485 views)
Tasted by augustwine on 1/18/2015: Yum. Jammy and well-balanced. Easy to drink. Oak is pronounced. Blackberry and cedar. We drank it with veggie pizza and Buffalo wings and it was a good combination. Drinkable now, but will hold for a while. (3192 views)
Tasted by chatters on 10/9/2014: Six nations tasting (Pyrmont): slight herbaceous notes, ripe black fruit…juicy, nice, perhaps a little tart but doesn't suffer from it, tough tannic grip. (3902 views)
Tasted by psundberg on 8/13/2014 & rated 90 points: Open for 2 hours, full decant for 1. A little untamed at the start but mellowed out as expected with a Porterhouse steak. Stiff tannins settled down to ripe berry flavors, mild mid-pallet and some anise on the finish. Overall a good medium priced cab and what St. Clement is all about. (2691 views)
Tasted by ecola on 8/11/2014 & rated 87 points: Medium body with dark fruit, dusty cocoa and espresso powder. Mid palate is a little thin. Expected more from this. Moderate acidity on the short finish. (2378 views)
Tasted by sqn19 on 8/8/2013 & rated 88 points: Nose is stewed fruits, but palate is fresh and quite acidic. Graphite dominates, fruit is in the background. Short finish. I believe this would benefit from more bottle age, certainly from longer decant (notes are from pop and pour). (4489 views)

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is probably the most famous red wine grape variety on Earth. It is rivaled in this regard only by its Bordeaux stablemate Merlot, and its opposite number in Burgundy, Pinot Noir. From its origins in Bordeaux, Cabernet has successfully spread to almost every winegrowing country in the world. It is now the key grape variety in many first-rate New World wine regions, most notably Napa Valley, Coonawarra and Maipo Valley. Wherever they come from, Cabernet Sauvignon wines always seem to demonstrate a handful of common character traits: deep color, good tannin structure, moderate acidity and aromas of blackcurrant, tomato leaf, dark spices and cedarwood.

Used as frequently in blends as in varietal wines, Cabernet Sauvignon has a large number of common blending partners. Apart from the obvious Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the most prevalent of these are Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carmenere (the ingredients of a classic Bordeaux Blend), Shiraz (in Australia's favorite blend) and in Spain and South America, a Cabernet – Tempranillo blend is now commonplace. Even the bold Tannat-based wines of Madiran are now generally softened with Cabernet Sauvignon

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
