Tasted by Woodbridge Brad on 6/25/2014 & rated 82 points: Tired and bit past its prime, it was a social thing so it went quickly after the two previous roses from 2013. Need to taste his 2013 (1008 views)
Tasted by Cuellar's Cellar on 3/31/2014 & rated 86 points: The wine looks salmon colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit, pear, passion fruit and rose. It tastes like lime, apple, dust and sandalwood. The body is light. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. (787 views)
Tasted by cbbrown3 on 6/15/2013 & rated 89 points: The wine is a light salmon to pink color. The fresh smelling nose had strawberries, white peach, spice, minerals, ruby red grapefruit, and lemon zest. This has a fairly light body, nice richness, and crisp acidity. To me this seemed to have spent at least a short amount of time in oak since there was a slight smoky element and a touch of extra spice to it. On the palate the fruit and spice grabbed center stage but minerals and a touch of ruby red grapefruit came in on the back end. The finish had nice length. This would pair nicely with some lighter Summer fare on a warm evening. (867 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 6/14/2013 & rated 89 points: Lodi Rosés: A bright, light cherry color in the glass. Such a fresh and floral nose. I live in Washington, DC, and I know cherry blossoms… this smells like cherry blossoms. Some watermelon and wild strawberry notes on the nose and a hint of peppery spice as well. On the palate, this acid is ripping, and I love it. So crisp and fresh, with wild strawberry and white cherry fruit that tastes crunchy and pure. The pepper and herbal aspects add complexity to this blend of Carignane, Syrah and Grenache. The finish is long, crisp and full of spice. After tasting this wine and being very impressed, I found it comes from 102-year-old Carignan vines, and the depth and concentration of the fruit shows. If you’re looking to stock up on some really good rose for summer, give this a shot. (1089 views)

Rosé Blend

"Rosé blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine.

Rosé

Rosé - Wikipedia

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
