Tasted by Blhoag8 on 9/8/2019 & rated 86 points: Fruity with enough acidity for balance (329 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 10/22/2015 & rated 83 points: Light yellow color; lemon, light vanilla, pear nose; medium bodied, pear, ripe apple palate with low acidity; short-medium finish (13.5% alcohol) (317 views)
Tasted by justinpowers on 8/16/2015: Citrusy and maybe a little tropical fruit up front, followed by orange pith on the back end. Creaminess coats the tongue, acidity seems unbalanced. I don't think I'd call it bad, but I would say that I didn't care for it. (1328 views)
Tasted by kanjimoti on 6/18/2015 & rated 84 points: The objective here was to find an inexpensive swigger that wasn't sweet. This was it. Bit of a zesty finish here with a medium body all for under $6. I dropped $200 on a bottle of Leflaive the other night and only got a glass of it so this made me feel better about the whole situation. (1739 views)
Tasted by evanqian on 5/29/2015 & rated 80 points: California Holiday 2015; 5/20/2015-6/2/2015 (Napa Valley / San Francisco City): pale lemon/straw yellow, clean. some tropical fruits and floral, reasonably moderate but not very clear. medium fresh acidity, but without any support to keep balance. a little bitter and hot in finish. it's not very easy to find a proper unoaked style for California Chardonnay.

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
