Lighter red color than upon first opening, showing precise lychee and blue fruit, plus some jasmine and green grape in the aroma. An elegant wine, it showcases a nice diversity of flavors: tart red fruit, a little incense, and a nice amount of acidity. (572 views) | | Tasted by Martin Redmond on 8/24/2015 & rated 91 points: Wines At Our Table; Week of August 30, 2015; 8/24/2015-8/30/2015: Purple-cranberry color with pleasing blueberry, cola, and a bit of smoked meat aromas. On the palate, it's light-bodied, and persistent with harmonious fruit, dusty soft tannins and acidity. It shows blueberry, cola, black cherry, and a bit of spice flavors. Lingering finish. A delicious well crafted wine. 12% alcohol (1005 views) | | Tasted by THECORKDORK on 5/2/2015 & rated 92 points: Sight: Deep Purple Nose: Blueberry, spices, smoked meat Palate: Explosive. I want to drink this again. (830 views) | | Tasted by drinkfunkyanddance on 4/8/2015: Yaaassss! My favorite Broc red so far! Bright blueberry and floral thing. So fresh, simultaneously dark yet light. Leave some more for me, please. (762 views) |

Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson Central Coasthttp://www.ccwinegrowers.org/links.html
