Straw gold in color, evocative floral scent, lean, chiseled and racy, almost steely in texture, high acid, lime and citrus, good length. Not one of those flabby, cloying examples. (973 views) | | Tasted by Laz4wine on 3/2/2019 & rated 88 points: Appealing semi-dry w/typical varietal flavors, mild petrol, nice citric acidity, limestone, honey, and good finish, good starter wine for dinner w/apps. (767 views) | | Tasted by andreawine on 1/3/2017 & rated 87 points: Petrol and lively Jolly Rancher green apple. (1212 views) | | Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 7/23/2016 & rated 89 points: Lemon-lime color. Brisk and bright on the nose, with wildflowers, chalk, bright limes, lychee and juicy orange, too. The palate is balanced between sweet fruit and bright acidity. A light-bodied wine with an understated approach, but it’s clean and clever and has some exciting flavors (orange, lime, lychee) and notes of chalk, minerals and honeycomb. Lovely clean texture and minerals on the finish. Very impressive for the price.
