Tasted by IlonaN on 10/23/2020 & rated 88 points: Still lovely to drink, with honeyed fig notes, showing some maturity at this time. (978 views)
Tasted by PT insurgent on 8/3/2018: Ripe nose of peach, melon, mango, blossom, quite floral, some herbal notes. Palate shows ripe stone fruit, quite tropical, very floral and ripe. (2011 views)
Tasted by paulst on 5/13/2018 & rated 92 points: Lemon curd; elegant and slate; nice balance and long finish. (2168 views)
Tasted by Nyrican on 5/4/2018 & rated 88 points: Not a typical Sauvignon Blanc citrus apple pear but not overwhelming. A decent amount of acidity. Some effervescent at the finish but has an ending that is somewhat sour or typical Sauvignon final finish. (1990 views)
Tasted by paulst on 4/10/2018 & rated 92 points: Relaxed and light with balance of straw lemon and honey. (2202 views)
Tasted by Ebernstein on 4/8/2018 & rated 90 points: Exceptional wine for the price. Unfortunately becoming hard to find. (1355 views)
Tasted by Joe the Critic on 10/2/2017 & rated 91 points: Exceptional quality for Entre Deux Mers -- one of the best Bordeaux Blanc I have tasted. This puts New World Sauvignon Blanc to shame with its balance, body, and complexity. The flavors are not especially fruity, so it's hard to describe -- someone else suggested nutmeg, and I would add fennel on the finish. This is drinking beautifully.

My wife found this at a Costco in the SF Bay Area for just $9.99. (1329 views)
Tasted by AJG91 on 7/30/2017 & rated 90 points: Hyvä SB-semillon blendi, rapea ja raikas suutuntuma ja pieni makeus jälkimaussa. (1444 views)
Tasted by Claret & CdP Gang on 7/9/2017 & rated 90 points: Very light in color, nutmeg & white flowers, lemon, pretty bouquet with a decent palate to match, fresh and delicate

Tasted by paulst on 6/20/2017 & rated 94 points: Lanolin and lemon with some light oak; complex; light acidity; long finsih. (1144 views)
Tasted by Claret & CdP Gang on 2/10/2017 & rated 89 points: Pear, apricots, apples, lovely bouquet, medium bodied, elegant blanc, good week day blanc, ready to drink

Tasted by Redguy on 8/14/2016: Clean, fresh, and lovely. Shows no evidence of wood. Really stunning at the price. (1244 views)
Tasted by MicklethePickle on 7/3/2016 & rated 93 points: This is a very nice Bordeaux blanc. Pale gold, Champagne color. Strong smell of fresh-cut fruit in the nose, especially pear, apple and even banana. Very pretty in the mouth, with nice layered flavors and more than a bit of complexity. Just enough acid to give it backbone while still letting the fruit take center stage. More fruit than minerals. Yet light on its feet, even delicate. This is certainly one of the best wines of its type I have had. Hope I can get more. 4-13-17-9: 93/100. (1190 views)
Tasted by Redguy on 6/23/2016: Light, clean, and refreshing. Tropical sea breeze, lemon peel, pineapple, and salted limes with lively acidity.... nice summer wine and an excellent value! (1017 views)
Tasted by Jeff Leve on 4/29/2016 & rated 89 points: Floral notes, with lemon peel, pomelo and a touch of honeysuckle. Fresh, refreshing, well priced and perfect for a summer seafood meal. 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 45% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle create the blend. (1819 views)

History of Bordeaux

History of 1855 Bordeaux Classification

"2009 is all about ripeness, with wines impressively packed with ripe fruit and high alcohol levels. They are showy, in-your-face, and full of pleasure. The 2010s have the fruit and alcohol levels of the 2009s, but with a compelling freshness on the finish that balances the fruit and provides a perfect sense of structure." - Ben Nelson

"2016 is a landmark vintage in certain spots of Bordeaux and it should be remembered as one of the most inspired campaigns of the last 40-50+ years." -Jon Rimmerman
"The quality of red Bordeaux in 2016 was universally lauded – although the response to the en primeur campaign was muted. Quantity was high too, with the equivalent of 770 million bottles of wine produced. An exceptionally dry summer with cool nights eventually, thanks to mid September rain, resulted in small, thick-skinned, ripe grapes, and the wines are marked by high tannin and acidity, with superb aromatic fragrance." - Jancis Robinson

"2017 was complicated, but there are some excellent wines. Expect plenty of freshness and drinkability from wines that will offer excellent value, and others that will rival 2016 in terms of ripeness and ageability. But they are likely to be the exception not the rule, making careful selection key." - Jane Anson

"In the past, a vintage such as 2022 may have been overripe, raisined and low in acidity but 2022 had a sneaky little reservoir in its back pocket - a near perfect marriage of cool/cold/rain the previous winter and the previous vintage that literally soaked the soils (a key to why 2022 is not 2003...or 1893)." - Jon Rimmerman

Entre-Deux-Mers

"Part of the problem with the terroir of the Entre Deux Mers appellation is the lack of mineral elements in the soil and the massive amount of forest land." - The Wine Cellar Insider
