Tasted by Harley1199 on 2/6/2022: Served by the glass. Softer than Malakoff which does not mean that it lacks concentration and structure. More black fruit and firm tannins but without so much presence of wood at least.

Servido por copas. Más suave que el Malakoff lo que no quiere decir que carezca de concentración y de estructura. Más fruta negra y firmes taninos pero sin tanta presencia de la madera por lo menos. (756 views)
Tasted by Château de Farmer on 8/15/2019 & rated 80 points: APPEARANCE
This wine is clear, medium ruby.
NOSE
The nose is clean and of medium intensity. Primary characteristics of blackcurrant, asparagus, black pepper, and liquorice as well as a secondary note of smoke are noticeable. This wine is developing.
PALATE
This is a dry wine with medium plus acidity, medium tannin, and high alcohol. The body is medium and flavor intensity is also medium. Primary flavors of black plum, tomato leaf, and eucalyptus are strongest in addition to some of the flavors noted on the nose. Finish is medium plus in length.
On an interesting point, the palate was far more enjoyable than the nose on this wine. The nose was borderline unpleasant.
CONCLUSIONS
Good, Can drink now, but has potential for ageing

Revision after a day open: not very pleasant. Drinks about its price. Fruit muted. (1811 views)
Tasted by rbergy on 3/1/2019 & rated 87 points: very nice, but too much of an acidic finish (1856 views)
Tasted by noahbw on 2/9/2019 & rated 90 points: Wonderful QPR. The online descriptions I read about notes of black tea, strawberries, and lavender were definitely present here, and well balanced with earthy tones. Didn't quite catch the cumin in the description. But still, a very enjoyable every day drinker. (1860 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 1/14/2019: Fresh and lively. (2010 views)
Tasted by Eric B on 8/25/2018 & rated 86 points: Was not impressed with this vintage compared to previous vintages. This one felt thin and basic, other vintages were meaty and full bodied. (1571 views)
Tasted by Patrick_from_champagne on 1/27/2018 & rated 88 points: Smells of red fruits with an exotic hint
Simple texture with a good length
Full body
