Tasted by Kentw on 6/10/2018 & rated 87 points: Mixed black fruits primarily, medium plus weight. Has some nuances that does not make it as good as the F2. Easy drinking and fairly smooth. Good week day drinker in the French style. (727 views)
Tasted by Slave to the Rind on 5/2/2018: For the price, an excellent weeknight wine. Red and black baked fruit. Slight tannins, low acid, easily quaffable. (663 views)
Tasted by corkscrews on 11/30/2017 & rated 85 points: A nose of some dark fruit and heat, some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, with black cherry, currants, spices on hot finish, average at best. www.winelx.com (822 views)
Tasted by Mtnbkrmark on 9/18/2017 & rated 88 points: Its alcohol heat right off the bat. Bright cherry and rasberry follow, with soft tannins. This is an okay wine for the money (831 views)
Tasted by Baron Slick on 7/6/2017 & rated 88 points: Aromatic black and blue fruit, garrigue, earth, and spices on the nose. Ample weight and plenty of stuffing on the approachable palate. A streak of cardamom plays well with the dark fruit flavors. Finishes with grip. Savory, fruity, and tasty. (879 views)
Tasted by winetastingnote on 4/4/2017 & rated 91 points: Not as nice as my first bottle but typical phinney wine; abundant fruit, ready to drink, very smooth, drink up (650 views)
Tasted by cgallamo on 3/30/2017 & rated 68 points: This is my second review. Opened another bottle - it was even worse. (578 views)
Tasted by cgallamo on 2/28/2017 & rated 81 points: Pulled from cellar at 52 degrees - PnP - Very light nose with a little light red fruit. Tasting starts with a bitter burst of alcohol and astringent tannins. Can taste the acid a little, but the bitter taste lingers through the finish. Don't taste much fruit. I let a small amount sit and reach room temp - mellowed a tad. I have read reviews that this should be consumed now, but I'm going to leave my other bottle in the cellar until I see some more reviews. (544 views)
Tasted by In vino potestus est on 1/11/2017 & rated 90 points: Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc blend. Medium ruby in color. Cherry, licorice, spice nose and palate. Subdued tannins.Medium body. Medium to long finish. Thoroughly enjoyable, if not mind blowing like some other Phinney wines. Good alone but better with food. Enjoy now; not for the cellar.
