Still lovely and lively with just a hint of maturity as previous rater noted. Tight bubbles. All enjoyed. (224 views) | | Tasted by ChateauShiny on 10/1/2023 & rated 92 points: Poured a medium dark gold with very fine bubbles. Clean and pleasant nose of toasted nuts, brioche, apples, and sea mist. Medium bodied, crisp, and showing a hint of maturity. Palate of green apples, lemons, strawberries, caramel, toasted almonds, a bit of marzipan, and just a mild hint of yeast. Moderate length finish of bright lemon, a bit of green apple, candied strawberry, almonds, a small amount of hazelnut, and a hint of yeast.
Feels like it can age for longer, but this is drinking in a great place today. (422 views) | | Tasted by winepog on 10/18/2021 & rated 91 points: Lovely wine. More sweetness than I remember in other IH wines, but round and rich and delicious. Cheers! Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers.
