Tasted by WineTonite? on 5/23/2020 & rated 86 points: Medium ruby with garnet tinged edges. Upon initial opening, this wine has an unusual mild effervescent mouthfeel that disappears with aeration. Aromas of dark bramble fruit and cherries, a hint of thyme?follow through in flavour with mild toasted oak and tannins.

Paired well with BBQ filet and veg. (446 views)
Tasted by df1962 on 4/27/2019 & rated 88 points: PnD let air for 2hrs.

Primary fruit with a bit of black pepper and herbal notes on the nose and palate. (828 views)
Tasted by WineTonite? on 10/4/2018: The 2016 is a blend of mostly Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a splash of Syrah. It is a dark purple/garnet colour. It has a rich, full mouthfeel of blackberries, cherries, light peppercorns, and roses on both the nose and the palate. The wine has medium tannins and acid.

It was slightly too heavy for its initial pairing with an elk sausage red sauce pasta, but paired well with grilled filet mignon a couple of nights later. I think the opportunity for the wine to air improved its flavour.

So, I think this wine is a bit too young to drink right out of the bottle now without decanting. Give it 1- 2+ years for this wine to soften, flavours to meld and improve with age. (801 views)
Tasted by KillerJones on 4/25/2018 & rated 87 points: When you taste this wine, you can tell it is made with younger grapes, & higher yields - not that there is anything wrong with that...

The blend is mostly Merlot & Cab Franc, with a small splash of Syrah.

I found this wine light, fresh & friendly ... but complex enough to entice the “discriminating wino”. (1310 views)
Tasted by SadEdjo on 10/22/2017 & rated 88 points: dark purple. latex, red fruit, clean finish. Good lift (1118 views)
