| | Tasted by D_RICH on 6/19/2021 & rated 89 points: My last bottle of the 2016, my favorite vintage of this wine. This vintage has low acidity and lots of luscious Pinot fruit. Still drinking well, but slightly past peak and should probably be consumed within the next year or so. Still, a little air helps and it should not be served too cold. Pairs well with seafood dishes. Punches in above it's modest price point. This is what most wine should be about - a well made wine with character and flavor that is readily available, can be enjoyed by everyone and will not break the bank. This wine (in it's current vintage, the 2018, which is a step below the 2016) can be had for just a couple of bucks more, today, than what it sold for thirty years ago. Bravo! (1410 views) |

This is a beautifully balanced wine. This bottle is the one of the best Trimbach Pinot Blancs I have ever had. Served with grilled swordfish, kale and brown rice. This is much better than the 2017, which from palate memory, is riper, sweeter and not as balanced. This is drinking beautifully now. A great value and the perfect house (white) wine. (1864 views) |

Mouthfeel isn't quite as creamy as I'd like, which sets it apart from my favorite Alsatian whites, but neither is it thin. Acidity is very good, with the fruit primarily in a lemon/citrus vein.
