Still delicious and quite minerally. (641 views) | | Tasted by KV04 on 4/13/2020 & rated 92 points: 2016 Domaine Belluard Le Feu ; from Savoie region made with Gringet grapes. I’m not familiar with these wines , but this one is very approachable. Nose surprisingly aromatic, honey, tropical fruit. Minimal oak. Palate average acidity, just the right amount of creaminess , nice tropical fruits on palate too, quince , passion fruit, pine apple... overall delicious . So far I had only the sparkling version. Nose of pure, crispy apples, quince and some sponti nose. Good acidity, minerality, medium body and some creaminess with time. Not 💯% sure, if Gringet performs better as a sparkling wine, but this is really good. (1616 views) | | Tasted by dron_ap on 7/5/2019 & rated 92 points: Great. Average acidity, average alcohol. On the aromatic side more of a clean green apple with some citrus an herbs. Light and a bit waterrish aftertaste. (1802 views) | | Tasted by Nipperu on 6/15/2019 & rated 92 points: Surprising nose: chocolate/coffee, peppermint, savory sausage/pepper, sour macerated cherry, chinese herbs, vanilla
Dry Mid- body Mid alcohol Mid- finish Mid- acid Low intensity Nutty, creamy? (1714 views) | | Tasted by acyso on 3/20/2019 & rated 88 points: Dinner at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. There's a really nice nose here with some spiciness and tropical fruit that reminds me a bit of young riesling. It's quite exuberant with a moderate amount of fruit cut with some fresh acidity. Seems a bit anonymous as far as character goes, and I didn't really place this as from anywhere. (1824 views) | | Tasted by vindictive on 9/11/2018: a regal mountain wine - serious, lots of apple and structure up front with the previously noted grapefruit peel / quinine character. It improved after a few days in the refrigerator so likely needs more time to fully develop. Expensive, but a very good wine (1155 views) |
