Luscious creamy toast notes with pineapple and apple flavors, finishing with some lemon rind bitterness to keep it interesting. This is a terrific value in Cali style chardonnay. (895 views) | | Tasted by iamandyc on 4/15/2019 & rated 92 points: This is an outstanding QPR at $24 in Cali chardonnay. Nice balance, brightness and fruit in a larger styled wine. Touch of butter and biscuit on the crisp finish. (1150 views) | | Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 4/24/2018 & rated 90 points: Bright gold color. Bright aromas of sea salt, almond, lots of ocean breeze, along with rich elements of toasted biscuits and toffee. Brisk acidity on the palate aligns with a rich texture, all balanced nicely. Lemon curd, bruised apple, pineapple upside down cake, along with toffee, almond, toasted biscuits, but there’s also a streak of chalk and seashells. Rich but lively, too, there is a lot going on here! Fermented and aged in 41% new French oak. (1351 views) |

| Kendall-Jackson Producer website
For more than thirty years, Kendall-Jackson has remained firmly rooted in a single-minded vision: grow honest wines of exceptional quality from sustainably-farmed higher-elevation vineyards in California's cool coastal winegrowing regions.Chardonnay The Chardonnay GrapeUSAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson Central Coasthttp://www.ccwinegrowers.org/links.html
