Tasted by B.R on 5/9/2020 & rated 85 points: Mediocre but not terrible (1298 views)
Tasted by CarpeDiem! on 5/7/2020 & rated 87 points: Fresh fruit, apricot, stawberry, roses and some grapfruit. Light to medium bodied, an agreeable companion to our Cesar´s salad - and a good price quality ratio (1316 views)
Tasted by tgallant06 on 5/2/2020 & rated 81 points: It smells like grapefruit, strawberry, apricot, mineral, peach, stoniness and rose. The wine looks pink colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. (1187 views)
Tasted by Malcwino on 4/8/2020 & rated 82 points: Good balance, not much bouquet, flavours of melon and pear, nice pleasant finish (1269 views)
Tasted by JNebs on 4/7/2020 & rated 88 points: Light strawberry with fainter rose and peach with moderate minerality and balanced acidity. Great QPR. (1257 views)
Tasted by inocencio on 1/24/2020 & rated 84 points: Very nice! Clean and flavorful, fresh fruit on the nose and palate, citrus and peach. Finishes dry, not at all musty. Some mineral, but mostly fruit. Day 2 wasn't as fresh or flavorful, unfortunately. (536 views)
Tasted by penguinoid on 12/14/2019 & rated 89 points: Colour: onion skin pink
Nose: lemon, lemon peel, peach, nectarine. Mandarin. Fresh, dry.
Palate: nectarine, peach. Stone fruit pithy flesh, slightly underripe, and the furry fleshy texture of nectarine skin. Lemon. Lemon peel. Fresh, very dry. Lithe acidity. Lovely, refreshing. 12,5% alcohol. Seal: screwcap. (670 views)
Tasted by tperrotta on 11/16/2019: 1 (613 views)
Tasted by mplsbruin on 7/15/2019 & rated 88 points: Very nice - especially hot summer day drink! Recommended by Madame Lamkin after our wine dinner at Luci Ancora. (942 views)
Tasted by Barad on 5/12/2019 & rated 50 points: Niets speciaals. Christine vind het niet lekker. (947 views)
Tasted by srh on 5/11/2019: French Wine Tasting (San Diego Wine Co.): WAY too cold

"Cinsault, Grenache, & Syrah; Wine elaborated by Saignée method. Vinification in s/s tanks until January, the wine is then bottled after fining."

N: Apples/flowers with undertones of minerals

P: LM body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt offset by an acidity which subtly sets the parameters into & through the LONG, bal finish. Primarily for lighter fare into Spring '20. 13% ABV; My VG+, arguably more for the QPR of this vendor's $6.99, which is as good as ANY of the already many currently listed on wine-searcher.

P.S. While I'd agree with "Barad" that this is "Nothing special" [Meaning, at least for ME, that I'd not buy it even @ this vendor's TERRIFIC price], it's *way* more, IMHO, than a 50 pt wine! [My VG+ = 88,89/100 on that scale.] (1091 views)

Red Rhone Blend

Read about the different grapes used to produce red and white Rhone wines
On CellarTracker, Red Rhone Blend is the term for a wine consisting of two or more of the traditional 13 Southern Rhone grape varieties. Typically it's the Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre or Cinsault grapes, but can also contain the Muscardin, Counoise, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Picpoul, Roussanne, Terret Noir, Picardan or Vaccarese grapes.

A 'food' wine. Lacking pretension and intended for local consumption with local cuisine. Lacks the 'high' notes on a Bordeaux, more earthy and sharper so often a better partner to meat dishes with a sauce.
